soveryapt Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 So, I came across a link to a house on Right Move after a friend commented on the link on Facebook. I just had to post it here as it just seems an ideal decor for @Little-Miss .. lol.. 4 bedroom semi-detached house for sale in Uxbridge Road, Hillingdon, Middlesex, UB10, UB10 1
Fleetwood Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Well, we now know where Gene Wilder's incarnation of Willy Wonka lives. Christ that's purple.. MY EYES!
TechSupp Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 OMG! What do some people think! Looks not lived in so obviously they could not stand it any longer! What's with the dining rom table in the bedroom?
gaz350b Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I was about to say the weirdest thing is the dinning room and bedroom combo
elsiegee40 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Umm... I hate to think how many coats of paint it will take to suffocate the darkest shade of Dairy Milk in there. And as for the carpeted bath panels.... ugh! We rented a flat in the 80s which had the bath panel carpeted in dark brown shag pile. It was a nightmare!
witch Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 If they want to sell it the first thing to do it to paint it all white and get rid of as many purple cushions as they can - then at least people have only got that appalling carpet to contend with....

It was a nightmare! Carpets in bathrooms are just awful anyway. I have taken up a few over the years and the staining and smell - OMG

Get rid of purple? I don't want to be you when Little-Miss sees that comment.. lol..
linkazoid Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Haha! I saw this too and thought of @Little-Miss was just going to post and saw this thread!
X-13 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Get rid of THAT MUCH purple!! No. It needs to be MOAR PURPLE!
plexer Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 It's awesome just not enough purple in the garden needs some lavender plants Ben
rad Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Thanks guys for saying positive things about my parents house. I'd like to say that my old bedroom isn't pictured. It's blue.
Steven_Cleaver Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Thanks guys for saying positive things about my parents house. I'd like to say that my old bedroom isn't pictured. It's blue. So you must be the black sheep of the family .
MordyT Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Somewhere I read that purple is a good color for the bedroom because it helps subconsciously encourage.... adult activities.
Nixon77 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Ordinary looking house is decorated entirely in PURPLE inside | Mail Online On the Daily Mail.
Abaddon Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I don't know - I quite like it. Mrs T is quite fond of purple!
Garacesh Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I personally like purple.. But geez, that's way too much. Waay too much. And the dining room/bedroom combo is rather.. unusual. Especially with that study-looking room that has not much in it. I'd personally have that as a bedroom. Nice house, though. Just needs redecorating.
sippo Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Why is there a dining room table in the bedroom?!
X-13 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Why is there a dining room table in the bedroom?! For those times you want to drop a no-so-subtle hint over dinner?
