Oh, and there is an Electric Avenue in Harrogate :)

And Brixton of course, which is the street that Eddy Grant's song is named after.

TBF though it is named that because it was the first street in the area to get street lights - does that apply to the one in Harrogate as well?

The C and S are often missing from the Canal Street in Manchester..... and I don't think that is local teens!

We have a God's Blessing Lane which is sweet, and an Avenue Road which is just weird :)

This school is on Avenue Road...

▲ We have a buses and trams displaying 'Halfway' as their destination in Sheffield.

Maybe it is a return service, in which case the sign is correct.... :getmecoat:

I had to go to Wickes in Redditch the other day and knowing what a pain the road system is in Redditch, I put my satnav in the minibus. I put in the postal code and it came back with Other Road. I remarked to the Site Manager what a dump Redditch is, they don't even have names for their roads. When we got there, the road was called Other Road.

A had an Aunt who lived on Snappersnipes SNAPPERSNIPES on WESTBURY Street Map

We have one called "Dark Lane" nearby - it has no street lights.

There's also a Cum Cum Hill on the way to London (couldn't tell you exactly where), and Cucumber Lane branches off of it. I probably find them funnier than I should...
