Arthur Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 It's not "every now and again", it's constantly while you're playing the game. Unless you are playing games 24/7 every day of the year, then it would be every now and again in the grand scheme of things.
Theblacksheep Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Unless you are playing games 24/7 every day of the year, then it would be every now and again in the grand scheme of things. Its has to be on 24/7 to give it time to install the games in the first place

X-13 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Xbox One Modders Enable DualShock 4, Xbox 360, Mouse Support & More - Xbox 360 News At Xbox360Achievements.org So, basically... Microsoft have been exposed as liars again?
JJonas Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 So, basically... Microsoft have been exposed as liars again? that is only controller support
X-13 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 (edited) that is only controller support And I swear they claimed old controllers wouldn't work because reasons. Le EDIT: http://www.shopto.net/news/42860/Xbox-One-wont-support-old-controllers "In order for Xbox One to deliver robust, meaningful gaming scenarios for all users across all experiences, only Xbox One controllers and accessories will work with the new console." Also on The escapist. For something that doesn't work because the entire thing has been redesigned, it looks to be working fine to me. Edited December 10, 2013 by X-13
JJonas Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 (edited) It is working fine but you need additional hardware to make it work. one of these http://www.ck3.co.uk/cronus_max.html Edited December 10, 2013 by JJonas

Once the dev kit functionality is unlocked properly, it'd be interesting to see if it's possible that way as well.
Arthur Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 (edited) I wish I was stupid. Then I would get a free Xbox One from CeX! Teen fooled by eBay scam is given a real Xbox One for free Nineteen year old Peter Caltworthy from Nottingham was shocked when he received a picture of an Xbox One instead of the actual console, after forking out £450 following a ‘successful’ bid on eBay. The auction was entitled 'XBox One Fifa Day One Edition, Photo Brand New UK 2012' and placed by a seller with 100 per cent positive feedback; furthermore it was listed in the consoles category on the auction site. Fleetwood Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I wish I was stupid. Then I would get a free Xbox One from CeX! Teen fooled by eBay scam is given a real Xbox One for free WHAT?!?!?!!! $%&!*%^%")&^%
rickjames Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I wish I was stupid. Then I would get a free Xbox One from CeX! Teen fooled by eBay scam is given a real Xbox One for free Hold on, this kid is 19 years old with a 4 year old child and this is on his mind? This country...
Arthur Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Hold on, this kid is 19 years old with a 4 year old child and this is on his mind? I wondered how long it would be before someone spotted that. Isn't it illegal to have a baby with a 14 or 15 year old girl? If so, why isn't he in prison for being a paedophile!
LosOjos Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Isn't it illegal to have a baby with a 14 or 15 year old girl? If so, why isn't he in prison for being a paedophile! Because he'd also have been 15 at the time and that's not illegal in this country, just stupid!
Arthur Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Because he'd also have been 15 at the time and that's not illegal in this country, just stupid! That makes him twice as stupid as most people then!
Arthur Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Just in time for Christmas! Xbox One exclusive digital prices increased by £5 in UK « VG 24/7 If you take a look at the British Xbox Live listings for Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5 and Ryse: Son of Rome, you’ll see all three are now priced at £49.99. At launch on November 22, all three titles were £44.99 – prices have inexplicably jumped by £5.
Arthur Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Xbox One System Update This update addresses the following: Addresses SmartGlass issues for some users when coming in and out of connected standby Addresses multiplayer issues for some users when re-joining games Addresses issues with inconsistent notifications for some users Addresses dashboard performance for some users Offers improvements for Xbox One’s TV, system update, and content update services for scaling over time Updated wireless networking driver to improve connectivity issues for some users We’ve got quite a few updates planned for the next year based on the community feedback we’ve been seeing, and I’ll have details on those in the future.
LosOjos Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Xbox One System Update No mention of patching "that" security vulnerability though, seems a strange move... If I've understood it correctly, it is quite obviously a major bug; if a genuine dev mistyped their ID, they could brick their machine.
PeggleStar Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I got the update earlier, you only get it if your console is set to instant on otherwise you have to wait a bit longer.
ZeroHour Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 No mention of patching "that" security vulnerability though, seems a strange move... If I've understood it correctly, it is quite obviously a major bug; if a genuine dev mistyped their ID, they could brick their machine. Its a hidden menu not a security hole? Are you talking about the ID for the upcoming indie dev program? Basically if you go accessing hidden system settings and end up bricking it its not MS fault (as is the case for many many many electronics out there). Genuine devs could have been informed clearly that they must be careful when they got the code from MS.
SYNACK Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Got forza, then new controller is really good for it as I am almost ok at it as opposed to hitting every wall in previous titles.
flyinghaggis Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 (edited) Forza5 (which I got bundled in the day one pack) is still the only game I've bought for it so far! Nothing else has really caught my eye and I think I'm struggling to come to terms with the £50 price tag of the rest of the games! Hard to justify when you think how many games you could buy on the steam sale for that amount of money. Hoping it'll drop to the usual £35-40 after Xmas when the hype has died down slightly. I think I'll pick up Halo: Spartan Assault when it's released on the 24th though Other than that it's looking like the next game I'm going to get for it will be Titanfall in March! Arthur Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Harrod's are now selling 24 carat gold Xbox One's for just £6,000. http://i.imgur.com/taRoIBI.jpg ^ This will go perfectly with my 100" gold TV and gold Blu-ray player.
featured_spectre Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Bit out of my price range. Hell i cant even afford killer instinct until my first paycheque comes through in january and thats £20!
