Microsoft have just announced a day one edition bundled with Forza 5 instead of Fifa for anyone interested

I've changed mine to the above as I'd never have played Fifa but was planning on getting Forza on launch. Well chuffed they're offering it as an alternative as it'll save me £45

 

Preordered that edition this second I would change if an fps based pack came out but Forza rocks anyway.

Lol, you were on that like a hawk! With the new bundle, and additional stock for the UK, just announced a few hours ago hopefully that also means we're in with a chance of getting it on release day too

Considering the game I play aroun 98% of the time is FIFA I've gone ahead and pre-ordered. Unless the PS4 comes with FIFA that makes the difference in price for me around £30, plus I get the kenect.

 

This will be the first console ever which I have bought on release day/pre-order. In fact its the first console I've bought in the first year of release!

Nah the drive seems stitched, it wont accept any discs as well as crashing out. Going to take it apart later tonight... probably with a hammer

Considering FIFA14 is available on PS3 all my mates are avoiding the PS4 / Xbone for now to avoid the mandatory PS+ subscription for a year at least.

 

GTA5 is on PS3 and I play Battlefield on a proper device (PC) so have to admit I don't really care for these new gen consoles as it stands.

Im off to the Xbox One lock-in at Game Norwich tonight, quite looking forward to it never been to one before.

I got to play Forza 5 and it is amazing. The level of feeback through the triggers has to be experienced. The rumble in the main body of the controller is the engine and the individual rumble motors in the triggers provide the feedback from the road and it is very convincing.

^ I can't help but think that's how it'll pan out for the people who get all tingly down south over voice commands. I mean seriously, how hard is it to press a button.

If you compare both games on the Xbox One along side the PS4 you can't really tell any difference

It's kind of frustrating seeing 'next-gen' consoles being released and struggling to run games at 1080p. Hopefully it's just a case of giving the devs time to get used to the hardware.

Forza is a tunnel though, its easy to get 1080p60 on a racing game
