Hi Everyone, I really am stumped at this point. Anyone who could offer any advice, please please do!! As of 3am on Friday, users can no longer receive email constantly on their portable devices. Users were able to add their office 365 account to their portable devices before this time using Active Sync, but now users who have the accounts set up prior to this time receive an error - cannot connect to server, even though on their phone settings the device shows as ok, but with a successful sync time of Friday. If you start logging, the retrieval shows an error. Users who try and add their account since this time simply are unable to verify account information. The IMAP Server setting is correct - the same as showing in their mailbox settings, and for users who couldn't autodiscover previously, this setting worked - until now. On testexchangeconnectivity.com, my admin account passes the activesync fine, with no errors. A standard user now receives an error: The IMAP service is being tested. Hi All, Just wondering if anyone else had encountered the same bug as one of our users have. When she gets the login.microsoftonline.com sign in page, and her credentials have been remembered on the device she uses, the button for her login name is unclickable, as are the three dots... also the 'use another account' button is also gone. Finally, if the device has saved any other credentials before, if she logs in, it magically forgets all of them too. In case that was too incoherent, here's a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/kYkIFAv.jpg This happens on every browser, on every device, on every Internet connection I have at disposal to test.. Chrome on Android, Safari on Mac, IE/Chrome on Windows 7/8/10, on our school Internet, my home connection, 4G phone network... I've never seen anything like it. I'm just praying no-one else onsite has the same issue, or our big move to 365 is going to be dead in the water .. Any advice is most appreciated!

A few years ago, a former colleague of mine started some R&D into Office 365 (our organisation knew diddly squat about it back then) and he started setting up a school that he supported. It ground to a halt halfway through when the original admin account for their original tenant was locked out. He had setup their domain and had it verified with the TXT record and then setup ADFS for SSO. If I try to sign in with [email protected], it redirects me. However, the box that it was setup on, died on it's backside about 6 months ago. If I try to sign into the original tenant account that's locked out, it allows me to begin the process of resetting the password. The big fail is that the rescue email my former colleague put contains a typo in the domain name and therefore no verification codes will come through to that email address. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get into this account? One suggestion was contacting Office 365 customer support to see if they would grant access or delete the domain from O365 for us. Another was to get the school to get a new domain name entirely (which sounds more hassle than it's worth).

Hi, has anyone come across this issue? I am trying to migrate a file share to Office 365 sharepoint site and consistently getting this error : System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.SPWebRequestExecutor.Execute() at Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.Web.WebUrlFromFolderUrlDirect(ClientContext context, Uri folderFullUrl) at Microsoft.Office.Compliance.Ingestion.SharePointIngestionProvider.Invoke(IIngestionTask& task). I am using the method listed here. I have also tried other tutorials but the same issue. Step-by-Step Migrate Files to SharePoint Online - Office 365 Import Service

Hi all; Wasn't sure if this should go in the Office thread or iPad, but I think the problem lies with the iPad, so here goes... seems like it should be so simple, but I don't get it - please don't shoot the newbie! I have a user with an O365 account who can't log in (using Word, Excel or PPT) using the apps on her iPad. I can't log in either. But both of us can log in with our accounts on another iPad and on a PC - and also on her iPad using Safari. I can then use (e.g.) PPT Online to create and save and reopen them on other devices. It's only on the apps on her iPad throws back the message "Can't verify subscription - try again later". I have cleared the Office installs and Mobile devices on my O365 admin portal so I don't think it's a licensing/activation issue. So I reckon it's something on the iPad itself. Tried going into Settings - - Reset - Delete Sign-In Credentials for each program. Tried deleting all three apps and redownloading. Restarted iPad after each. No joy. Only background info which may be of note is that I think she may have inadvertently created a personal O365 account using her school email address, the same email as her school O365 account. Whether this is relevant or not, I assume something has got stuck on the iPad apps that is preventing sign-in, but I would've expected this to clear if the apps are deleted and redownloaded. I don't really want to have to advise resetting the iPad unless absolutely necessary! Has anyone come across something similar and/or has any suggestions? If I had hair I'd be tearing it out! Any advice much appreciated. TIA

Hello, We've been having an issue onsite regarding 365's login. One of our staff members recently had an issue where they were logged out of their office account, and whenever they attempt to log back in, they put in their login email and then the window crashes out and closes. If logging in via Outlook, the window reports that there was an issue with setting up the account and it fails every time. Looking into the issue, we've tried: forfefully removing the email account and resetting it up to no avail; deleting the cached credentials in the credential manager; resetting the cached credentials in the registry editor and reinstalling office. We've really run into a snag here, none of the above fixes have worked. If anyone has any ideas, or has encountered and fixed the issue before, please help! Thanks,

I have successfully created a .onmicrosoft.com domain name for use in the Academy where I work, however when I try to validate my Domain I keep getting informed that my domain is associated with another MS Service. I am confident that it is not, but no matter what I try to do I am unable to get my preferred Domain name recognised by O365. The error message received is: Has anyone else experienced this and if so, how did you solve it? Thanks, Martin

Happy Friday Edugeek !!! I want to know if any of you have had any problems with adding accounts into outlook. I currently use our in house email giles.lincs.sch.uk. This works fine in outlook. However i also need to add in my office 365 account aswell because we will be moving from our current email to office 365. my office 365 is @Gilesacademy.co.uk. when i add in the office 365 account it tells me its done and i must restart outlook for it to load. when i do this and re-open outlook it asks me to input my password for the office 365 account. I do this and it does not work it just keep popping up for me to input the password. I know the email address and password are correct because it works i log in online. Any ideas. Regards, JJames

I am in the process of setting up a school with Office 365 and I am trying to tell the system to change the domain I want to use for the Global Administrator account. However, when I try to do that, I get taken to the "Alternate Email Address" field which is filled out with the email account I used to register for the free trial and tells me I can't use that email address as the alternative (which is fair enough). The real kicker is that if I try and type in something else, it's still giving me the error as if I was still trying to use that original email address. What am I doing wrong? Are you not allowed to edit those settings for the GA account?
