I would have them all set to H:\ -> \\server\usershare$ (assuming yours actually maps direct to a folder, e.g. \\server\share\%username%) and then remove the "net use h: /home" as it's redundant.

Sounds the same as Google password sync? It sticks a DLL in that grabs the passwords as they are changed (there's a DLL that password changes run through which checks the complexity, you can create your own if you want very specific complexity requirements, assume they use this to grab it). Don't think anyone except MS have a way of taking the stored passwords? But I'd agree with the rest of your concerns.

We use iSAMS but the nursery has its own separate software to handle the billing etc. I'm not sure if this was due to not being able to do it as we wanted in iSAMS or if it was just to get people the ability to pay online for nursery vs fee invoice we use for the junior and senior schools.

I can't see as it being possible to stop them saving any image shown on screen (if they disable the save menu option what's to stop screenshot/snippingtool coming out), however... last time I had a play on iris connect it appeared to be impossible to download the video, so I guess there's a way that could be done if they wanted to change how the video was delivered.

Sounds like stale data in DNS -> Reverse Lookup Zones, have you checked in here? Guessing scavenging isn't turned on or it's not had long enough to clear out the stale records.

Our old Enduro was about 30 seconds a card, Rio Pro 360 just timed at 18 seconds a card during a long job. So yeah both loads quicker than the OP's current device.

We've got a Magicard Rio Pro 360 Duo, as long as the cards aren't pitted it prints fine and relatively fast.

You’ll also need a lot longer than you expect to rip floorboards up - we did our ground floor and it took ages, hardest part was removing rusted 90 year old nails from the joists. In the end we just had to cut them or bend them until they snapped off.

Been a while as I did this in about 2014 but the only thing I can remember giving me hassle was when I had half the users on 365 and half on prem, it didn't like a cloud user looking at an on-prem user's calendar (or vice versa) and getting the mail routing right was a bit of a pain. But once we'd finished and got everyone to 365 those problems disappeared.

We have two of the smaller 20 pair boxes in a room that used to be the main reception, quoted £1,500 + VAT to move them to an external box outside about 8 years ago - Literally the other side of the wall so it'd take someone maybe an hour to do and no cable extending or anything needed. (They got left where they were in the end, insane price as at the time we only had one of the pairs in use). Box it in, saves all the hassle. Doesn't hurt them if they get a bit wet anyway, there's nothing to them just punch jacks (or in the case of our ancient ones, screw terminals)

Shouldn't do. It'd be saving OneDrive to c:\onedrive\%username% and the Windows user profile to c:\users\%username% with no onedrive folders left there to get in the way. This won't fix the current mess obviously but just an idea for how to stop it happening over and over once you've cleaned this up.

It still does this when you are using local profiles, so it's not a mandatory/roaming issue. OneDrive leaves things behind that upset windows and it makes a new folder, the problem is the algorithm has changed for some reason from Username.Domain.000, Username.Domain.001 to Username.Domain.000.001 One potential workaround is if you can tell OneDrive files on demand to use a different directory for the file location (so make c:\OneDrive or something, point it to C:\OneDrive\%Username%) then at least when the profile screws up there's nothing left behind to cause it to append the next number?

Depends how it's worded (haven't read them yet), if it is "at least 90 days" then give notice way in advance stating the end of contract date as the termination date, then if you end up wanting to stick with them just manually renew.

We've got 40 Lenovos like this, use a USB3->Network adapter and also a USB drive that has the SCCM boot image on it. Boots up, runs the task sequence like normal and pulls all its drivers as usual.

Unifi controller is either software installed on a spare server/VM, or a "cloud key" which is a tiny bit of hardware. They just use the controller to set the config and manage them, the Unifi APs can function with the controller turned off.
