right ngl im trying to show off to a girl she is a better haker than me and said she will take me back if i hack sims so anyone wana help me plz?

I'm trying to run my new laptop without flash. I WANT to use IE8 just without flash, great... I installed flash as it kept nagging me on every site I visit. I've disabled flash and now it naggs on EVERY website that add-ons are disabled. I've followed it's own help to turn off the info bar but the instructions given actually just minimise the chance of it appearing! I found a reg hack that sets iexplorer x0 in local security (for those who google this problem) but that doesn't get rid of it either! I don't want to use chrome, firefox, safari, etc.

ok, so after installing ancient prerequisites like .net 2.0 and visual c++ 2010 on all 3 of my domain controllers. I was required to disable UAC.. So far, so bad. I then had installed the password sync tool on all 3 domain controllers. Then the kicker, ALL USERS must reset their passwords for it to work.... This tells me that rather than querying the AD database its stealing passwords as they sync between the DCs! This horrible fudge tells me that if they couldn't be bothered to get ad integration right what are the chances that they skimped anywhere else. Are they salting and hashing credentials etc... I love the note that passwords can't have the "£" symbol in them, so they are no sanitising correctly either. if this is the level of effort they put into the software, I want it out. Which is what I'm doing now. if anyone whos used the M$ sync tool for O365 which can run on any normal domain member, this is the stark contrast.

Received this from AQA - I think its legit as far as I can tell. I've not included the FAQ which really wasn't that useful... Meldrew

Link: BBC News - US Centcom Twitter account 'hacked by Islamic State' The twitter account is now suspended. The hackers created posts which looked as if they probably have contained confidential/sensitive information. How current that information is: Who knows? But hopefully the damage is minimal. Confidential information may also have been posted on PasteBin. Again not posting links to that information here. The rhetoric that you might expect to accompany such an attack from individuals like this is present: Statements about Allah, Muhammad, and Sharia Law.

I recently stumbled across a very interesting game last week. It's called INGRESS It's an Android only game (at the moment - iPhoney to follow soon) but it integrates Google Maps with Augmented Reality and Geo-cashing. Its been going for about a year and is currently in a closed Beta at the moment which means its invite only, but it is about to be released to the masses for free on the 14th December 2013. A friend (who doesn't actually play it) gave me an invite last week and I must say that it is strangely alluring and quite addictive plus it has the added benefit of getting me out-and-about as I go in search of portals to hack, or enemy portals to destroy. The idea of the game is that it is between two factions The Enlightened (of which I am one) and The Resistance. Portals are 'hacked' to mine for items (resonators to capture portals, XMP weapons to destroy resonators, portal mods and keys). Once you have captured 3 portals you can establish a 'Control Field' in a triangle between the portals. Its actually a turf-war on a global scale as each side tries to take more ground and beat the other faction. I know its still a month away but if you like games, geo-cashing, augmented reality and world conquest (well your part in it on a local level) it's definitely well worth checking out. Watch this space for more information! Is anyone else here already playing this? Agent Kitalon of The Enlightened *** EDIT - Allegedly it is actually free and open to play now (no invites needed), it will officially be released on the 14th Dec ***

Hello All, Does anyone know how I get RDP / Remote Desktop / Terminal Services client to connect to a Terminal Services server, run a single applications (SIMS) and not display a standard red "close" button at the top of the window? Actually, I'd like to hide the whole window if possible so it looks to the user as though they are just running SIMS, and when they click the "close" button SIMS just closes. At the moment, the user has a choice of two close buttons - SIMS' small grey one and Windows' larger red one. If they click SIMS' small grey close button SIMS will close and the RDP session will automatically logoff and go away, but if they click the red close button they will simply close the current RDP connection, leaving SIMS open (and consuming memory, I assume) on the server. It would be nice to avoid to much confusion amoungst end users and just give them a button which does a close-SIMS-and-log-off. Can this be sorted out with the standard Windows RDP client, or is there a third party application suitible somewhere? -- David Hicks
