That may have been in a sale of some sort, I think it was more pricey than that to begin with... I was a Kickstarter backer (beta level) and then bought the lifetime expansion pass for a *lot* of money when the first big expansion released. I feel the purchase was justified considering the literal weeks of game time I've poured into it, but I seem to remember quite a few complaints at first. And @ICTDirect_Dave, thanks for that. I hadn't considered visiting a barnacle site, I was just going to pop to Maia and buy some from the market there! I guess I'll see how I feel when I get there. I've been following all the cool alien things everyone in the community finds, but I've been too chicken to think of leaving the bubble.

We always have croissants on Christmas morning (after opening presents, of course) and then, at lunch, the traditional turkey and gammon joint with as many trimmings as we can physically place on the table. Yorkshire puddings are a must, although my family tend to have them with every roast dinner. I love a generous helping of broccoli with mine, too!

Elite: Dangerous has had a new update, so I'm back playing that. Might actually finally start looking into the Engineers, I've still only got the first few unlocked and I need to head out to the now Thargoid-infested Pleiades nebula for the first time since their re-appearance to pick up some meta-alloy... I've been to the Pleiades nebula before, but I think this was way before the Engineers were a thing! Still, I guess it'll give me a reason to try out the new exploration doo-dads.

Day 2, still no mobile data. I imagine this is already pretty expensive for all networks worldwide suffering the same issue... EDIT: This is on the status.o2.co.uk page: Ah, a phone reboot has re-established my connection. Never mind!
-
I've now got emergency calls only on my phone. Perhaps they're trying the "turn it off and on again" method?
-
It's just data for me, texts seem to be okay. I didn't notice that, I've had my data switched on all morning waiting for a signal! I can't quite believe that it's still an issue. It must be really bad...

I'll be keeping an eye on it. I hope they'll stick with the same co-op style they used in previous FarCry games - Although knowing Ubisoft, they'll probably just copy and paste like they usually do anyway! Fallout 76 is by no means a good game, so this should be better from a story and technical standpoint, but I think the FarCry apocalypse will be missing that retro-futuristic Fallout charm.

O2 investigating network data problems - BBC News: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-46464730 I've used O2 for a good 10-15 years, and I've very rarely (if at all) had any problems with O2 services. This outage seems to be a big one! EDIT - See also: https://status.o2.co.uk/

Unfortunately, my local cinema is an Odeon and I used to work there before starting my current job as a techie. £40 is ridiculous but I'm really not surprised. Odeon have the cheek to write in big characters one standard price on their posters, and then add all kinds of charges (listed in very small print at the bottom, of course) for any "extras" - £1 extra for 3D, £5 if you're going to an IMAX screening... They even added £1 if they categorised a film as a "blockbuster" movie! I only tend to go these days if I desperately want to see something, or there's something I'd like to see that I can use my Meerkat Movies on...

Ah, gotcha! I don't know what to tell you, then! I even made sure to battle every trainer I could find, and go down routes I didn't necessarily need to in order to battle. My Pikachu was mid 60s when I stopped playing. A party in the 70s would be really useful for me right about now
-
How'd I beat them, or how is my party's level in the 50s? I think my party was low to mid 40s when I beat Team Rocket, too. I got to Silph Co. in the mid 30s and got smacked down by Blue in the lobby... So I used the old Cycling Road down to Fuchsia City to battle and train up. ^.^

I also beat the Elite Four over the weekend, on my first run. My Pikachu's level was in the late 50s during the run and was the highest level of my party, so it took a little bit of wrangling to keep them all fighting fit. I think most of my party were a similar level to their Pokémon and I had a type advantage on most of the Pokémon thrown at me, which helped. I then got destroyed by Mewtwo as it one-shot most of my party... I'll try again at some point. I didn't know you could redo the gyms, so I'll have to have a look at that. I'm at about 110 caught on my Pokédex and had stumbled across and caught a wild Dragonite before stopping for the weekend. On the Saturday morning, I watched a video about Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (which I played to death when it first came out on the 360), so I spent the rest of my gaming time over the weekend playing the first and second games. They're alright games, but great from a Star Wars nerd standpoint! They both could've done with more unique levels, though.

I've caught millions of Growlithe, but only around Vermillion City, so I'll hopefully be able to find a place to catch one at a decent starting level. I think I may have seen one or two on the old cycle route. And yep, I have an Alolan Diglett.
-
I hadn't, until that point! Charizard is awesome but he seems to be weak in situations where I need him, so I've also got a Rapidash in the party who fits the bill, but Arcanine is a good shout... Perhaps I should work on getting one. Pidgeot is my favourite non-legendary bird, but he doesn't get used very often, and I thought I might need him for Fly, but apparently not! I've got a minimal amount of water type Pokemon, but I've only just learned Surf. I miss having the fishing rods!
-
Pikachu's probably not as easy as that when you have all bases covered with an Eevee, but it's still not been too difficult. I just made it down the old cycling route and managed to evolve my Wartortle and Charmeleon en route, and I already have Venusaur, so I've got the type advantage on most trainers one way or another. I did get stomped by Blue in the Silph Co. tower on the first run, though... I beat him the second time around once I knew what I was dealing with. This prompted me to do a little bit of training before I tackle Saffron City! I've not bothered linking my Go account, I've been enjoying finding them in the world again. It's by far my favourite new thing, to see them wandering the world.

I spent basically every waking moment this weekend playing Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu, and it was awesome! I'm well and truly hooked, just like I was with Pokémon Yellow around 20 years ago...

This is a mad concept for a film and some of the Pokémon are more furry or feathered than I ever imagined, but I'm in!

Hi all, We had some new Canon iR-ADV C7570 copiers installed over the summer holidays, and it's just been pointed out to us by staff that when they go to print multiple colour copies of a document, PaperCut suggests the job is greyscale and charges the greyscale cost, but prints out correctly in colour. This doesn't happen if they print a single colour copy, which is the weird part. We've taken a look at PaperCut when trying to print multiple colour copies to other printers, and they all have been charged correctly. This issue is also affecting our primary school on a completely separate site/network with the same copiers. Has anyone else with these copiers noticed the same, and have you been able to fix it? Thanks in advance!

I don't cycle to work anymore, but I still have a front and rear set of Cateye lights handy in my work bag. They were quite expensive, though, and looking through the website, I couldn't tell you exactly which model I have, but they look almost identical to the VOLT400 or VOLT800 lights on that product page. The headlight is my go-to torch now, as it's stupidly bright, but it was great when using it for winter mornings on the road. It has a couple of flashing modes, too. EDIT: Almost forgot to mention, they're rechargeable and it has a MicroUSB connection on the underside. https://www.cateye.com/intl/products/headlights/
