Good stuff! Your setup is very similar to mine (same GPU, almost the same PSU power) so it's good to see that it's finally playable! I'm definitely going to go back to it, and then I'll make a more informed decision about that Blizzard Mountain DLC...

I haven't played the game in a little while as I had terrible issues just running it even at 30fps on my aging PC. I've just upgraded to the new i5 and DDR4 RAM and thought I'd give it a try for the 5 minutes I could spare, and I can now run it at 60fps with better graphics settings. Thing is, after trying Watch Dogs 2 and not seeing much of a performance improvement, I was shocked. Has FH3 been optimised greatly in the time I've been away from it, or is it the new hardware? Could be a bit of both, I suppose...

I was an ambassador for Elite Dangerous back when it was being shown at various conventions. My Twitter timeline absolutely exploded over this last night! Makes me worried some people are shooting at them...

... And we completed it a couple of days ago. It's good fun with some solid mechanics, and really enjoyable turn based combat. It's left a significant void in our gaming repertoire... I've dusted off the old Xbox 360 as I discovered that I could get the latest Madden NFL game on there. The graphics are incredibly potato compared to what my PC can churn out and compared to the Xbox One and PS4 versions, but they didn't port it for PC and I don't have the funds (or justification) to buy a new console just for the one game! Overlooking the graphics, it's alright.

My mate and I bought Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition on Friday. I'd already watched the first part of the game years ago and I've been watching a playthrough of the early access Divinity: Original Sin 2, so I knew what to expect. He wasn't particularly convinced at first, but it's now hooked us both! We were eager for Watch Dogs 2 to release on PC, but now, it can wait!

It's not like I even really *need* to upgrade - The phone is still fast enough for me and I do prefer the OPO's design to the 3T... But shinies!
-
The 3T is now available to buy in Europe, if anyone's interested: https://oneplus.net/uk/oneplus-3t Gunmetal colour only, for the time being. In other news, almost a month after the initial accident, my OP1 has just arrived home having been repaired. I might be getting the 3T in a few months, but it's worthwhile to keep my One as spare!

I'm a sucker for open world games, so I'll find myself just wandering around, much like I do in GTA 5 or in the first Watch Dogs. And I like that there's more of a focus on the non-lethal combat. From what I remember in Watch Dogs 1, it was practically non-existent.

I pre-ordered Watch Dogs 2 for my PC the other day. I know some people frown upon pre-ordering games, but it was 20% off on Green Man Gaming, and I'm quite looking forward to playing it. I enjoyed Watch Dogs the first, despite its mixed reviews.

My family have been wanting another dog for a little while now, and yesterday, we finally found one! He's a 5 week year old "Springador" (Springer spaniel/Labrador cross) and not quite ready to come home to us just yet! We saw the whole litter, but this little one stuck with us when the rest went to have a nap, so we figured he'd chosen us. More pictures, taken from my potato quality stand-in phone! So far, the most popular name is Finn, although not everyone is convinced. Any suggestions would be awesome!

They tweeted the other day, teasing something new and an emphasis on the letter "T". If this 3T is what it is, then it might be the phone I upgade to from my slowly faltering OnePlus One. Speaking of, has anyone had any experience with OnePlus support/repair? I, rather annoyingly, dropped my OPO a week ago and smashed the screen. I put in a support ticket and was all confirmed last Saturday, but I've been waiting for a shipping label all week. Meanwhile, it still sits on my desk at home, waking itself up diligently every morning to wake me up...

My dad and I took the plunge and went halves on the NFL GamePass. £140, but it's all the games on demand. We don't have Sky Sports or BT Sport either.

I was fully expecting it to be the other way around! The Dolphins have been terrible up until Sunday. I'm only sorry it happened to the Steelers, I like the Steelers and I really hope they go on to the playoffs and beyond. Anyone but the Patriots!

Resurrecting a *very* dead post here, but didn't want to create a new one since I was going to ask the same question! Long-suffering Miami Dolphins fan here, I've only been following the NFL closely for the last few years but I've been a Dolphins fan since my dad got me a Marino jersey growing up. I got to see them two years in a row at Wembley, which was great! This year has been the first year I couldn't go. Anyone following the season this year? Despite the Dolphins not doing so well, I've really enjoyed following other teams. Some amazing things happening in other teams, like the Cowboys and their incredible rookie starters!

Hi all, We included Autodesk 123D Design on our image this summer, and it seems to work well on our new Stone machines. We've had no other complaints from anyone about it. However, one particular student has found a problem whilst working on his project. The program seems to hang when he tries to add a polyline. 123D Design doesn't have a problem opening his project or staying responsive whilst moving around his design and tweaking it. As soon as he adds a new polyline, it becomes unresponsive indefinitely. Reopening the project and trying again does not work. We also tried different PCs, to no effect. His design is not incredibly complex, and is entirely 2D. I suspected that his project file had somehow corrupted, so I tried exporting his project and importing it into a new project file, which seemed to work for about 5 minutes before it started to hang again. The strangest thing is that no-one else in his class (that we know of) has had the same problem. It seems to just be him. Has anyone encountered a similar issue in 123D Design, or any Autodesk software? I'm completely new to the software, and my only experience of it is installing it and making sure it worked when it installed. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Yeah, the minimum specs are quite mad! Mind you, the detail Turn 10 put into the Forza series, I suppose they either wanted to do it justice on PC... That, or the port sucks! I thought that was just me! I wondered if it was my network configuration. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon, although I imagine any update will have to go through the approval process like it does on Xbox One.

I've got an i5 3570k (see "Minimum specifications" for the game... D: ) so I'm not able to run it at 60fps either. I thought my 970 might be able to bear the brunt, but never mind... I bought the standard edition. It's a really fun game that really gives me the Test Drive Unlimited nostalgia, but it's just reinforcing the whole "Oh $deity, most of my rig is 4 years old now" knowledge that I've been trying my hardest to ignore... I had a lot of stuttering issues with the Nvidia game ready driver for the game, but reverting to the previous driver has made it run at a solid 30fps now. I just have to ignore the huge "Unsupported driver" warning message that pops up every time I load it up!

+1 for Sennheiser earphones. I've had several variations over the years, they're all good quality for what you pay for, and I always buy Sennheisers. I usually have to get a new pair every 12-18 months after being used almost daily. I'm currently using the MX 475s, which are a little more expensive than those 375s. I'm on my second pair of the 475s. They're good!

Hi all, I've had an account for a few months now but I've not posted as of yet (until now). My boss (@fiza) recommended I bookmark the site, and since then, I've been lurking and using these forums for whatever advice I can get! I'm currently in my first job in IT as an apprentice IT technician, 4 days at work and 1 day at college. I'm really liking it so far! Edugeek is an incredible resource for any technician, so thank you for providing all the answers!
