I'd contact Paxton and see if they have any advice. They've been very helpful in the past with any Net2 issues, and may be able to point you in the right direction.

What server operating systems are the mapped drives running on? We saw issues when mapping drives to shares hosted on older OS's.

Check the Windows Firewall on the SQL Server and ensure that the listed ports (TCP 135, and UDP ports 500 and 4500) are allowed to the IP address of the remote computer that is running SQL Server Management Studio. I had to follow something like this https://knowledgebase.apexsql.com/configure-remote-access-connect-remote-sql-server-instance-apexsql-tools/v when setting up our SQL 2019 server in order to allow other devices to access it, so I'd check there too.

Got to Astle Park Steam Engine Rally this year. Even the mini ones can break down!

Don't think it's jammed because it still moves, but less than an inch. I think this is probably it as there's barely an inch of movement downwards... My recommendation has been to leave it down considering it's so rarely used at the moment, and that if they want it fixing I can chance it and take it apart or we can get a professional in to take a look.

No change. Is there somewhere specific I should be hitting? My understand of these screens is that there are two springs one at each end. These are what rotates the main bar in the housing which the screen is attached to. It's my belief that there isn't enough screen left in the housing to be pulled down, to disengage the lock that's holding the screen down and not allowing it to roll back up. Does this sound plausible? I could always take it down and take it apart but that'll be a pig of a job, and I'd come back here first asking what gotcha's there are for taking one apart as I've never done it before.

Hmm, I haven't tried hitting it yet, I usually reserve that for printers. I've tried pulling at a slight angle but may go for more like a 20% angle rather than the 5% I was before. I don't want to have to take this screen down to do any work to it, especially I don't want it to fall down! Thanks for the advice, I'll update if it works.

Hi all, It's been a while since I've dealt with projector screens but the one we have in our building has been pulled down all the way and now won't go back up. It's about 6-7 feet wide for scale. It has been extended normally down for a couple of years and yesterday someone else tried to put it back up, but only accomplished pulling it all the way down (then they came to get me. Figures.) You're meant to pull and hold it for 3 seconds for it to retract but it will not go back up. There's also only a centimetre or so of downwards movement left in the screen. Has anyone got any ideas on how to get it to successfully retract? I've tried snapping my wrist downwards to jolt it, but I'm worried about it coming off the brackets. I've also tried pulling from towards both edges rather than the centre. Thanks in advance!

Steve's suggestion of checking backups (maybe using WizTree or TreeSizeFree) would be my first call. Old backups of databases are typically the same size as the original so this might free up a lot of space. Page File would be something I'd also look at, as SQL servers can be memory hogs and you probably don't want it paging to disk. I can't recall the SIMS guidance on it specifically. Your transaction log should ideally be getting cleared and shrunk by your backup software after the transactions are committed. If not you may want to investigate.

Ni No Kuni was a great gem - full orchestral soundtrack, and done with Studio Ghibli so it looks fantastic. Story is a bit childish but I still really enjoyed it! Tales of Xillia I've started and enjoyed but not sat down to get very far into yet. Shadow of the Colossus is amazing. There's a PS3 remastered version with ICO as well. Turok is fun if you're a fan of action games. The Last of Us - I enjoyed it but got too freaked out by the Clickers. I could probably power through if I played it in daylight without headphones, and wasn't jump-scared by my family... Timeshift is a novel shooter if you haven't already played it. Lets you reverse time as a core gameplay mechanic. I've picked up the 3 Uncharted games for £9. The first one seems to be tougher going than the others (a bit repetitive and controls feel less smooth than I'm used to as a PC gamer) so I may resort to watching a Let's Play and jumping to 2.

I don't know if it suits what you need because you haven't been very specific - how many tests will you be creating, how many classes will use it, will it be administered by support staff or teachers themselves, do you need template tests for staff to use or will they always write their own... etc.
