Should we already have our Apple Customer Number listed in ASM? We currently only have our Apple Org ID listed. Or is the customer number something that gets added as part of this initial process?

When we ordered the iPads we gave them our Apple ORG ID. The iPads have just arrived but not listed in ASM yet. When I click on Devices it seems to want either our Apple Customer Numbers or Reseller Numbers added, but I don't have either. Any advice?

Even now, with China banning it there are still crypto coins being sent between China and other countries. There are also plenty of point to point crypto trades going on and decentralised exchanges, sure the volume will drop without the main exchanges, but don't think it would fall apart.

One of my friends does those 'If you are feeling mentally low, call us for a free season' type of adds in Facebook. He originally contacted them when he was going through a hard time. After many appointments and feeling more like himself, he was then offered a training course at 20K through the same company and now does counselling as part of this scheme. He will get sent people from the original person who helped him, he then councils them (or passes' it on), offers them some training at the end etc etc. Its all one big pyramid scheme. Last year he took home 160K. I don't think he would care if it's a pyramid scheme or not, as he is raking it in.

A few years ago I got a crypto credit card, so I can buy normal items (shop in Tesco's) and pay with Crypto. I didn't renew as I decided it would be best just to hold my coins.

I did try to get some way back in 2012 but couldn't workout how to buy them as there were no real exchanges, or none that looked legit.

I have been holding coins since 2017. After the first month I had made enough to take out my initial investment. Will leave it there until I retire. If I have none, no worries its not cost me anything, otherwise who knows.

If you get the management licences and set all the settings in Google Workspace, they are a breeze to look after. Just sign in on a new device and Google will set all those settings you previously set in Google Workspace automatically. We also have the Play Store with just the apps we want the pupils (primary) to be able to download / access.

Got an issue where one update will not download properly and I read in another post that someone fixed the issue by moving the repository folder to a new location. Currently its in the SIMS folder which clients have access to via the S Drive. Do clients actually need access to the Solus_repository folder or is it just Solus3 that needs to access this folder?

So it is something like settings > Updates, then you highlight each update listed and click download.

Also, in Settings > Solus3 > Solus update repository is set as \\????-sims\sims$\solus3_repository is this correct?

With the pull down box, how far back should I select? 3 months, 6, last year or beginning?

I have a tick box to show 'all updates' and a 'check for updates'. When I click check for updates it reports that is has not found any updates to retrieve :-( When I check the new repository folder, there is just one file inside, I am sure there should be a lot more.

SIMS / FMS autumn update will not deploy, when I checked in Solus the downloads had failed to download from our LA / Capita. I was told to rename the repository folder to .old, and create a new one with the same name. What do I do to get Solus to grab any updates and re populate the repository folder?

I just had a little issues on our new SIMS server. SIMS updates all worked fine but when I tried to deply the Agent to a new client it didn't work. My workaround was to allow C:\Windows\System32\wbemlunsecapp.exe on the SIMS server firewall.

It's set to 'All Users' for the OU the head is in, so looks like that is correct.

Head contacted me to say an email address was not correct, so I directed her to the contacts Icon (3x3 dots, on blank Chrome page), and she says she doesnt have the icon. I then sent her a link to the contacts page and she said it says no contacts. Then I thought perhaps the app is disabled in Google admin, but there doesnt seem to be an 'on / off' type of app in the admin GUI for this. Any ideas.

Does this mean that even if we get consent, Google photos might not work?

The primary school have a bunch of Android tablets that the pupils use to take photos of their work etc. One of the teachers has asked to use Google Photos on the tablets (currently disabled in Google admin), so they can share the photos taken on the tablets with their teacher account on their laptop. The pupils dont have indevidual accounts on the tablets as the tablets are all logged in as a class. Does the school need to get any type of parent consent? as Google Photos comes under Google non core services. Does the fact that the pupils are using a shared account make any difference to the above? Also, how does Google's new 'Over 18' requiement play into all of this?

We use both Spanning and Cubebackup.
