Average is a 100 mile round trip, can be as low as 50 and as high as 200 (thanksfully not very often!) the downside of being a self employed techie with schools and businesses over a wide area!

If you're concerned, buy a 3x pack of access points for £160ish have a play and set it going, you'll see how good it is, won't be the last set you buy!

I run unifi systems at approx. 10 primary schools, it's a fab, reliable, easy to use, set and forget system that does everything a primary would need. And is just soo much cheaper than other systems (potentially why the company quoting wants to install more) I set the controller software running on a server and I've rarely had a problem. I run Ruckus at two schools, one has been fine, the other a couple of the access points have caused hassle. Just grates when we need to expand the coverage, costs so much, where with a unifi system it's such a nominal figure it's never an issue. Likely at some point the Ruckus systems will be pulled out due to this.

And can you find them 3 years later when you change the projector.....no!!!!

Always found those plates a pain, end up cutting bits out and filing to make the hole wider to get it straight! New Epson projectors like the EB-20 it's not so much a hassle, but I like them straight in the first place!

Got a few of these... Accurate, viewing is fine...But, the speakers are very 'flat' is possibly the best way to describe. Teachers have complained. Shame as it is a nice screen in all other regards. Add some wall mounted active speakers, all good

Yeah, agree with all the above, been there, ended up ripping it all out, as it just couldn't handle what they wanted to do, some of the software was just a nightmare to get working. Best thing ever, going back to normal PC's

Zoostorm customer service is the absolute pits. Have had two dealings with them, once for a dead hard drive, the other for an order of 25 PC's. They were utterly uninterested in the warranty claim (did eventually get replaced after spending waaaay too much time on it) then cancelled the order and bought Lenovo USFF PC's instead (much better PC's for not much more money) Would avoid them like the plague. They get business because they're cheap, sometimes you have to buy to a price point, but such a thing as too cheap.

Any joy with this?? Got one of these, got into uefi setting and disabled secure boot, but still won't even try to boot off of a win 7 usb key

When your AP's need replacing, look at Unifi, no annual support charges!

11.4 is a nasty piece of software (no wonder they're freely giving it away) But in 3 years time and it really is as much use as a chocolate tea pot. You buy a board or interactive projector, then have no choice but to pay the annual fee, or potentially only be able to use the kit for a year....

Same here, got about a 100 across a few sites, only ever had one play up, cheap enough to replace. Unlike any other managed solution...if you think what you save on bloated maintenance charges, plenty to cover the cost of the odd AP

Might be worth checking if the user has the Office File authentication addin, really slows down access to files on a network share, remove and all shall be well in the world again.

Oh Zoostorm, bought one for a business customer, never had such a trouble getting a hard drive replaced. Would never, ever buy one again!! I wouldn't have normally touched them anyway, only as customer wanted as cheap as possible. Will just say no next time!!!

I use a hdmi splitter and ran both hdmi and coax from the sky box to second TV. Crystal clear and using the magic eye can control from the other room (either that or sky+ app)

+1 for Unifi, much cheaper than anything else, provides all the functionality a primary will need and works brilliantly!! Got it deployed in 8 primary's and no stupid support contracts... Had Ruckus in one school, but slowly replacing it, too expensive for what it does
