I don't know whether this would be possible in Registers - have you considered storing it in an aspect and using Assessment Manager for this?

[sims] Exams Module showing $ not £ - Only on 32Bit Win7 Pro
rh91uk replied to TJIT's topic in MIS Systems
Try the dd/mm/yyy format -
Yes!! FMS on Windows 7 1. Install FMS as per usual 2. Open up command prompt 3. cd C:/Windows/SysWOW64 (or C:/Windows/system32 on x86) 4. run the following takeown /f netapi32.dll icacls netapi32.dll /grant Domain Admins:f 5. Rename the netapi32.dll in C:/Windows/SysWOW64 (or c:/windows/system32) to netapi32old.dll 6. Copy the dll’s in the folder to C:/Windows/SysWOW64 or C:/Windows/system32 7. Run FMS module 8. Choose where your INI file is. 9. You should be able to then login fine to FMS. Accept no responsibility for this document what so ever! Another tip I found is, when installing on a 64bit machine it will install to the (x86) dir - I'd change it to the normal Program Files too.

Hi all, A quick one. We hardly use SIMS here and we are moving into the using it for Assessment (!!), Behaviour Reporting, Communication Logging etc. I have to present a roadmap to SMT regarding it ..... what we aim to do when. Has anyone got any examples of anything they have done? Cheers Rich

Hi all I found that the quick parts in Word 2010 do not save. Last year I was able to write a quick script to copy the following location into the C drive, and one to copy it back on logon. %userprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Document Building Blocks\1033 However it has changed in Word 2010. Can anyone advise where the location of the Building Blocks ? Thanks,

[ms office - 2010] Security Warning | Macros have been Disabled
rh91uk posted a topic in Office Software

Hello, just a quick one. All ldap logins to Moodle were fine (and pretty speedy!) last academic year. Come to this year and we install our new SRX firewall (here lies the problem I think...) logins are incredibly slow. DNS servers are right on both the MySQL and Apache boxes so I am at a loss. What about opening port 389 (LDAP?) to the server from the SRX. Think that may fix it? Seems like an obvious answer but I'm just trying to answer the questions in my head here - cheers..!

Hi all, A quicky - my staff do not have access to "help" or "options" in Office - even if I stripped out all ADM's controlling office. http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/5649/nooptions.png http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/4410/nohelp.png Is there an underlying gpo that I have missed? Cheers. Rich

@EN4 - yes they do! Very good company to deal with ... I know my boss will be along and sing their praises but they really were excellent .... went with them for recabling our entire school too!

I don't know the proper answer but a backhand way to see all users (and you could work out the inactive ones ) is to go to SQL Management Studio -> Security -> Logins. I scrolled down to the bottom and saw a lot of our old logins. Hope it helps a little!

I would put them one after the other in the same file. No seperator needed, CMD will run the first line then the second line - one after the other. You could always just add a "pause" at the end to check that the commands have run correctly without any errors before the batch file exits.

[sims] If You Want To Use Nova-T 4 Then Move To Africa
rh91uk replied to russdev's topic in MIS Systems
As far as I understand it running Nova in Satellite mode allowes you to run the datasets locally (e.g. what was in S:\SNOVA would be in C:\SNOVA .....) and allow you to work on the timetable without seeing the SIMS server I'm sure I will stand corrected if I am wrong.... -
+1 for distribution list, works very well here when we want to use it.
