  2. Anyone using Skype for Business in their schools? It's free but I assume it'd always require net access, even internally?
  3. Try telling the Police that it's a skill and not loss of control over the vehicle Makes me want a Nissan, lots of fun
  4. Haha! That's brilliant
  5. Just try go above and beyond for everyone and everything and sometimes it's best to drop hints or let people know what you've done or what you've been up to. Biggest tip is don't take it personally when people don't seem grateful, you get used to it.
  6. I think the lorry driver will get done for careless driving and maybe even the middle lane hogger could get done for driving without due care and attention. I've had it before though, I was in the outside lane having just overtook cars in the middle, wanting to go back to the inside lane and there was some silly old bugger in a Quashqai doing about 63 in the outside lane, with both inside lanes empty, so I flash him a few times, after about 30 seconds of rage flashing (I didn't get up his backside BTW, that's stupid and I don't own a BMW), he moves to the middle, gives me some lovely facial expressions, polite hand gestures, then I move back to the inside lane, where it is clear for a few miles and the minute I do that, he moves straight back to the outside lane, becoming a dot in my mirror. People need to be educated on the roads, failing that, shot. I've also been crashed into on a roundabout, indicating and everything all because the guy "didn't think I was going that way". People. Ugh.
  7. When it comes to unfiltering it is mostly down to you and your school. Have you passed it by any SLT, have any staff mentioned it to you, have you heard of this system/software/site before, have you been and the site and had a look yourself, could you just link the specific pages needed? Every time I'm asked I have a look at the site, see if it's beneficial and necessary and then I will then I will do it.
  8. Wait, lorries aren't allowed in the outside lane anyway, so even if the driver was dawdling (still illegal) the overtake would have been a much bigger no no?
  9. It all legit, honest.
  10. How about a Pi? iCarus - Raspberry Pi CarPC | Home
  11. I've used TSOHOST in the past and been happy with it, although I'm not sure if they have yearly option.
  12. Guessing you're setting up supervision on the iPads? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure that since iOS9, you can associate one email address with multiple iPads
  13. To be honest they look a bit cheap and nasty. I opted for the Pioneer SPH-DA120 App Radio, fair enough, you may have to plug your phone in, but it's only one port and dependent whether it's an iPhone or Android phone, you get full user interfaces, calls, maps and so on. The unit is very responsive and the display bright and clear, also makes OEM speakers sound a shed load better!
  14. I'd probably stay away from WiFi/VoIP as in an emrgency situation (fire and the WiFi is gone) or just outside of the school grounds, they wouldn't be much use. Getting licensed ones again is probably a must, some confidential information could be transmitted and you don't want everyone to hear that. We used to use Motorola radios, seemed spot on and good battery life.
  15. Just on the Air Server thing, must agree, installed at many schools over the past 3 years, all updates to date have been free and it just works!
  16. Promethean do tocuh panels too, seem good from what little experience I've had. I've installed SMART E70 and a variety of the Philips screens and don't seem to have an issue with any. Had a Philips blow a PSU, but they came and fixed it within a couple of days, so no complaints there.
  17. If I remember correctly, the frog series used to have the frogger game built in? Hours of fun during a presentation
  18. +1 for the Jester. Although expensive, it is well built and they will last a long time. I'd get the Jester ML though, provides easy to use interface and scrollers to use moving lights. After a few half an hour sit ins with me, the kids got the grasp of it pretty quick and actually respected the equipment and made a decent light show! The ability to plug a screen in is really useful too and I feel a full desk offers a lot more control of the fixtures.

    What is a Wii U?

Without sounding awful, Nintendo games whilst fun, are very simple and not as complex as the the titles brought out on Xbone and PS4. Take GTA V for example, it's a huge game, exceeding 70GB now and with all the detail, graphics, you have to expect bugs and what not as it's a much bigger game in every aspect than mario kart or splatoon.
  20. Personal best on a lamp was under 20 hours, not bought a non genuine lamp since!
  21. I always buy my parts from Scan or Aria

    What is a Wii U?

Much better off with an Xbone of PS4, plus the Xbone has kinect if he wants to jump around the room and they've both got a long life span, loads of games and apps plus bluray! Also Nintendo are working on a new console codenamed 'NX'
  23. All I could think is they're getting too hot. Replace the lamp if you can, clean the projectors filters, can of compressed air to blow dust out, set them to eco mode and set the fan speed to full, it'll be a bit louder, but it will obviously aid cooling.
  24. First off, are they genuine lamps? Secondly, did you clean/replace the filters and do a general clean and dust removal on the unit?
  25. You can set GPs for local machines too.
