  4. Hi @SelfishClive, I've just tried adding that now, will go and test it, does the "Enable" need to be in the quotes? Thanks, Dan
  5. Hi, We've got a lot of students who are changing the screen orientation by using the 'CTRL + ALT + (Up, Down, Left, Right) arrows, I've managed to disable the 'hotkeys' in the Intel Graphics Management page, however, they are still able to do it, I've also set Disable Win X hotkeys in Group Policy and tried NoWinKeys in Registry. Any one able to advise what else to do to disable it? Thanks, Dan
  6. ??? Anyone help??
  7. Anyone??
  8. Got an issue with Google Chrome and Office 365. Got users who can log in to office 365, via Google Chrome, as soon as they click on mail, it attempts to load the mail screen, but fails. If I clear the browsing history, makes no difference, but if I select ‘Keep local data only until you quit your browser’ close the browser down and try it again, it’s completely fine. Also works fine if I go the history and click on ‘advanced’ and then untick the boxes that are ticked, but only select ‘cached images and files’ and then close the browser and re-try the site, it works fine too. Anyone know if there’s an option to allow this setting for all users via gpo, or add a value in registry to turn it on. Thanks, Dan
  9. What OS is deployed at the school?
  10. I’ll see if I can find the ports online that you’ll needs to allow on your WiFi controller.
  11. I would have a look at purchasing Apple OS X server, you could you a MacBook, it’s around £19.99 you join the Mac to the domain, and use profile manager and assign all your iPads to the server and then you can push out apps over the air. Let me know if you need any help.
  12. Just buy a usb to Ethernet adapter and then boot it via usb to Ethernet.
  13. Air keyboard, download it on the teacher machine and it connects to the phone via the app. It’s really good.
  14. Glad you’re not the only one. The machines are under warranty and Dell are sending replacement drives out for those that have failed, so far 15 out of 40 have failed. But I’m just wondering as to why the drives are failing, and it’s only the Toshiba that are failing.
  15. We have Toshiba 256GB SSD’s in these machines and so far, out of a batch of 32, we’ve had 14 machines fail, all with the same error code and validation. Dell are sending us replacement machines, but just wondered if anyone else was having the same sort of issues with anyone of your 3040’s.
  16. Anyone having issues with Dell OptiPlex 3040’s failing and booting back to the Dell diagnosis page which says the following:
  17. Hi, Is it possible to set the language of the deployment toolkit wizard to be United Kingdom, instead of United States, and also allow it to save the deployment credentials, as I'm doing lots of testing, and would like to save myself time by saving the credentials. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dan
  18. Yep, that’s the ones. Make sure that they’re unblocked on your router.
  19. Make sure the ports are open for the Apple Server, I can’t remember off the top of my head what the ports are, but I can check for you if you want? Thanks, Dan
  20. Hi, Just a quick question... I’m cabling a few rooms in the house with Cat 6 cable, which will be used for sky via hdmi over Ethernet, and it will also have an internet connection. This will be on the wall via a back box and two cat 6 face plates. My question is, I need all of the cables to have RJ-45 ends on, while the other end will be connected to the face plate. What’s the colour code for the end which the RJ-45 end will be terminated. I’ve previously used orange white orange, green white blue, blue white green, brown white brown. But this doesn’t work for the set up I’m using. Any advice, at the moment, I’m not wanting to use a patch panel etc, will probably do that in our new house. Thanks, Dan
  21. Hello, That's set, but it's still allowing the users to reset settings, which then clears the wifi password, and I don't really want one student doing that, and then it goes round all the iPads. Thanks,
  22. Hello, I know there's a way to do it, but I can't find the way, I know it works with Meraki MDM, so should allow the setting on Apple Configurator 2... Basically, I need to be able to stop the students from going on the iPad settings, scrolling down to the bottom of the page, and clicking reset all settings, as this literally wipes the iPad, and forgets all the wifi settings etc. I've done it with Meraki before, but need to move away from that, and use either Apple Configurator 2, or Profile Manager via Apple Server app. Can anyone help? Thanks
  23. Yes, thank you, I've not had chance to try them yet, as I'm still in the process of creating the images etc. Dan
  24. Hello, I'm currently in the process of setting up Windows Deployment Services, and need the .inf file for the Network card for a Lenovo Think Centre M73, I've downloaded the drivers from the Lenovo website, and extracted the drivers, but they don't have the .inf file in. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Dan
