We are an SCCM site. However we are taking the drive into Intune/endpoint manager for our new staff laptops. I've personally struggled with less control over the devices. But I'm warming to it, given the advantages. Given the way remote education is going, I reckon I will move everything over to intune soon.

We just bought some for our primary schools.. For a AC Pro box of 5 - £500 ISH per box For 500W 48 port Poe+ switch.. £560 I think the 24 port is just over half that cost.

Wow! I would say that must have cost some bob! We used to have Surface Laptop's here in the IT department, but we found them somewhat unreliable, especially with the Dock's. So we went back to DELL.

We are in the process of trialing intune. I think it seems pretty good to be honest. What is it lacking?

Surely that isn't the laptop! I think he is in a server room!? If that is the laptop then wow!

They are disgustingly low spec. I don't understand how the procurement process would be so crap! Even the HP ones are pretty crap! I've had two fail on me already. Anyone know how to make a warranty claim? Is it just direct with HP?

Yeah.. you can't do this if folder redirection is in place. You need to turn that off and use sharepoint migration tool to move them over. I tried for ages before working that out

You're best making a SharePoint site for this purpose. The site would have it's own OneDrive area which is shared. This can be locked down to groups.
