We use wisepay and impact at our school. I believe there is a job on groupcall exporter that runs that syncs impact with wisepay.

Just emailed Salamander support for this Idoceo extract. Hope they can do it for us! Salamander support is the best I've come accross. I've emailed them twice in the last week and they fix/tweak our AD extract the same day. Best tool we have and it does so much.

Hello, I've been looking at this the last few days. We use Casper also. I found that you need to create users in ASM and import them into Casper. The import can either create new users or link to existing users. I guess as you already have a 1:1 deployment like us you'll have the users setup via LDAP. This means you can link the users you create in ASM to the users in Casper. You need add your ASM to casper by going to Casper's Settings > Mobile Device Management > Apple Education Support. Make sure apple education support is turned on. You can then click the Apple School Manager tab and add your instance of ASM by linking it with the DEP Instance you have on casper. At the bottom will also be "Matching Criteria for Importing Users". I struggled to get this to work at first but found out that the easiest way to get this to work is to use JSS Username is equal to Source System Identifier. The source system identifier is the Person_ID in ASM. Our students use their school number as their username so I've set all our students Perseon_ID as their school number. Once you've found what works best for you and ran a sync. You have to import the users. You can import users by going to the Users tab. Do a blank search and a new option will appear called "Import". This is where you can import your users from ASM to Casper by following the wizard. It will tell you whether it will create new users or link to existing ones. I've not got round to testing classes yet but I think now that we have some users the classes can't be too difficult to figure out. Login to https://school.apple.com/ - at the top left you'll see your schools name with a down arrow. Click this arrow to bring up a menu with your School name again. Click the ⓘ button to load your school information. Click the third tab called "Device Purchases". Scroll to the bottom and you'll see your DEP number. Edit: Top LEFT not right.

Does anyone know what might cause an old application to display random symbols as characters: Looks as if a certain font can't load but can't find a way to fix it.

Thanks for the suggestion. We already have an access control system in place so was looking more for something that is just implemented with SIMS. Another question would be: Does sims store the file path to the Photo ID? How does the database reference the photo ID for each user?

We're looking for a system that will connect with SIMS to pull student/staff info and photos from to create an Access Card. Does anyone know of any companies that do this.

Just got it to work on a Windows 7 machine also. Had to use firefox as this asked me what application I wanted to use to open the link. It seems my chrome and Internet explorer are not detecting my Itunes installation. Was using an email invite.

We're getting this also on Casper. I contacted their support and it is an issue with the iPad and not the MDM. I think the issue is with IOS 9.3.2. The alternative way round it is to do the acceptance on a MAC. I just tried it on a windows 7 machine and couldn't get it to work (iTunes is installed). Might be that my iTunes isn't being detected.

We've been using it since it was released. Not had any complaints from staff about it and our staff are even doing their reports on it!

When we got the SIMS Teacher App we had to associate all our iPads by sending our staff members an association code. We're just in the middle of swapping out the iPads for newer ones and was expecting to have to do this association again for the new iPads. This doesn't seem to be the case. The iPads and the SIMS teacher app work as normal as if the device is already associated in the portal. Has device association changed? All our staff are restoring from iCloud back so I can only guess that something in the iCloud restore is automatically associating these devices?

Yep. I've been contacted by Apple asking for our deployment apple ids. This is so they can combine them into a single account for Apple school manager.

Thanks for this. I was off last week so only just got round to trying it. I've followed the guide and it seems to work. The only issue I have is that the windows image applied to the iMac is sysprepped so when it boots into windows it brings up the "Preparing your computer for first use" and shows a box to select a language but none of the bootcamp drivers are installed so the mouse/keyboard drivers are installed.

Can you share how you're removing One Drive and the Network options from the navigation pane. Also, how to stop the One Drive client setup?

I've been looking at this over the last couple of days. I couldn't get a reliable way of removing the built in apps via the XML but I came across another post on here by @alfatec that posted this: This worked well for me and I managed to create a bootable windows 10 EDU iso that didn't have the apps installed.

Currently looking to re-image our MAC suite with a new OSX image and a Windows image we already have on our WDS server. I've tried numerous suggestions on applying this windows image to a MAC but not having any luck. I don't want to have to re-create the whole Windows 7 image on an iMac but I feel I might have to do this if I can't get the Windows 7 image to apply to the iMac. Once it's on the iMac I can use Winclone to get an image to upload to our Casper server and deploy it that way. Anyone have any suggestions?

Is there any way to set a default save location? Or restrict it so they can only save to a particular place?
