Ruckus is amazing kit, it's takes a little bit to get set up just due to the fexibility you have with it but once that's done it really is an install and forget type system.

I've gone down the HomePlug route, wireless is rubbish in our house and I can't Cat5 the entire house. I've gone with Devolo 1409 dLAN 200 AV Wireless-N Starter Kit: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories in the lounge as that gives me 3 network ports for the PS3, Humax PVR and one spare, it also gives me good strength wireless N in the lounge for laptops etc.

Went with the S2 in the end, purely down to the screen as you can actually see it in bright daylight, which you can't with the Sensation. Cracking phone, I even quite like the Samsung modifications on it, was never that keen on HTC Sense for some reason.

Is it a Dell laptop? Check if the power supply is a revision A01 as they can cause this problem.

The sad demise has already taken place for us. I kind of miss analogue, a bit of white noise and ghosting was far better than squeeks and random blocks when the weather is bad. Also, scanning 5 channels to discover there is nothing on worth watching was far quicker than 50+ freeview channels. Ah well, everything moves on.

Whatever cloud based solution you choose, if the company providing the service is a company based in the US then you need to check they are on the US EU Safe Harbour list. If the company is outside the EU and US, then avoid as you are then likely to be in breach of EU data protection laws. Dropbox are not listed on the safe harbour list AFAIK, Microsoft and Google are, so Skydrive and Google Docs are an option.

I sync our primary dc to a time server at the LEA and then the network syncs it's time to that. All othe time servers are blocked by the LEA.

Try reading a book on it outdoors on a sunny day. Personally, I'll stick with my Kindle 3 with an e-ink display, it does what it's supposed to do very well. The new Kindle without keyboard looks rather nice, the only downside is the battery only lasts a month compared to 2 on the Kindle 3, such hardship having to charge it once a month;)
