I read an interview with one driver who was lucky enough to get through the carnage, apparently you just suddenly hit a dense wall of fog/smoke and you couldn't even see the front of the car, plus there was lot's of standing water with car/lorries skidding all over the place. Very scary and yes there 'may' be incidences of people driving too fast, but I certainly wouldn't be jumping to that conclusion at the moment.

Weird, just put my SG2 on full volume and compared it to my Sansa clip mp3 at full whack, no difference. Just walked outside with my HTC Desire & my SG2, the SG2 locked onto GPS virtually the same time, about 45 secs for both.

Next week there is a debate and vote in the house of commons on having a referendum on the EU. This debate was brought about by enough members of the public petitioning to have this debate. However, the party leaders (all of them, not just the torys) are threatening to enforce the party whip to make mp's vote against holding a referendum. I find this absolutely disgusting, it's not in the coalition agreement and therefore should be a free vote. I would urge as many of you as possible to write to your mp, easiest way WriteToThem - Email or fax your Councillor, MP, MEP, MSP or Welsh, NI, London Assembly Member for free, and vent your displeasure at the party leaders attempts to hijack this vote.

Should be fine, works no problem in the kitchen next door, which is well over 5m away. Our house between floors is somehow built like a Faraday cage, so we get poor wifi between floors, but that happens on a meaty dual aerial wifi access point as well.

The wireless N on the plug can be disabled. I use it as I don't get a good signal in my lounge from the router upstairs, so I run my PS3, Humax pvr off the plug and have the wireless N for aptops etc in the lounge. +1 for the Devolo, best ones I've tried and having the 3 ports in 1 plug is very useful. The wireless works well if nearby, don't expect it to cover the whole house as the aerials are in the plug, so not that powerful.

It's just started through Orange in the UK atm, see List of NFC phones, others are beginning to move across once old stocks have run out.

The S2 has a front facing camera and the latest versions of it have NFC, although you need to check when buying if it will have NFC.

Go for the S2, it's a brilliant phone, you won't be disappointed:D I just got one a few days ago. I didn't wait for the Nexus for a few reasons. First, it's a effectively a beta product, if you want to pay to be a beta tester, then go ahead, me I'll wait until they've sorted out any niggles with Android 4. Also, you can pick up an S2 free on a contract at £23.50 a month (Phones 4U), the Nexus will be £35 plus to get it free. Samsung have already said that any phone model up to 18 months old that is capable of running Android 4 will get the upgrade, so the S2 will get it at some point.
