Usually when you go to an MS login page, if the email address you enter exists as both a "Personal" address (created prior to O365 existing) and a "Work" address (created through O365 etc) then it asks you which one you're signing in as, then asks for the relevant password. I have both on my school email address, even though we don't actually use O365 but registered all our domains with O365 so I do have access and could login if I chose.

We only have 4800 distribution lists in Exchange, created by Salamander...

Look in Windows Update history. It shows you date-order of what was installed. Anything since last Monday, remove one-by-one and try again?

He's registered with/through TutorHunt, but that's an agency that adds percentage fee if you go through them; cheaper to go direct if you can find the right tutor directly.

Just beware of the SIMS Document Server, which uses c:\......\domain\internal\random\sets\of\letters. Not sure if it "encrypts" (ish) with a GUID, or if re-joining same domain will generate same set of paths.

I'm with North Yorkshire Council, not LGfL, but I'm one of the few schools in NYCC who has access to modify my own DNS records on their system. As we've moved suppliers for Broadband and separately for Spam (via a 3rd party), we've had a number of changes to make at critical points (ie "overnight tonight, we will switch"). I couldn't have done that without access to modify the system, but (if they won't give you that) at least with read-access I could confirm that the change they promised to make for me at 8pm (for example) had indeed been made. I also had the ability to challenge whether DNS was working/replicating properly because their morning checks all worked correctly, but 50% of direct NS lookups still returned the old records - so it wasn't just propogation not working, the settings hadn't replicated from ns1 to ns2 even though all internal checks passed.

Fortunately he'd installed it in conjunction with another school so their tech was able to get me through it. We use the Finance bit, aka Corero Resource 32000 before Civica bought them out. No problems with it.

We use https://cardexchangesolutions.com/producer-go-edition except it's the Ultimate edition as it came with Nationwide (Truste) SmartSync. Print a card from NRS SmartAdmin database, it pops into CardExchange to print, read's ID then spits it into AD, NRS and TrustE.

Have a look at Papercut 19.0 which is newly released. I've not installed yet but the release notes mention about editing the job properties at the device before printing.

I’m unfamiliar with Radius on Windows as our Radius is BYOD tablets only. But you can definitely push a cert out in GPO. Policies, Security, Public Key, Trusted Root from memory, in some order or another.

One of our staff has Parkinsons and is no longer able to press down on the regular mouse buttons with her fingers. Her occupational therapist has recommended bigger mice with buttons on the side rather than the top, so she can use her thumb for left-click. Whilst we find out which mouse(s) she's recommending, does anyone else have anything they've used in their schools?

Just type "DHCP" in the "Apply a display filter..." box; that's the quick shortcut to filter only DHCP traffic.

Kinda on-topic, we made our own data collection (PHP, MySQL) for year 7 intake which works great. Used it last year for whole school data check.... about 200 replies out of 1700.... not so successful!
