Haha..... Breathed too loudly I think... Apologies I meant different year groups as one detention.
-
Good afternoon, We have recently migrated to Arbor and are currently setting up our Behaviour module. We have encountered an issue whereby we are unable to set up year group detentions via workflows. We understand that detentions can be configured easily when they are set for the whole school, which works well for our extended Wednesday detention. But we cannot find a way to create detention workflows for individual year groups. Has anyone else using Arbor encountered this issue? If so, how did you get around it? At the moment, it appears that teachers will need to enter any detentions into Arbor manually. Regards, Ross

Is this on an 'older' computer running W11? Has the BIOS been updated on this workstation? I have had an issue with older computers but seems fine after a BIOS update. Regards Ross

IVMS-4200 Opening up as a background process in Task Manager

Have moved on this from this by just putting the software on 1 machine. Has saved me so much hassle as staff no longer leave the software running on there own machine and not causing problems. The lite version of LVMS is also more reliable. Regards Ross -
What anti virus are you running? I have seen this with us and we are running Sophos. Whatever your running try uninstalling one one and see if they reappear. Regards Ross

We have the same issue with our Music students. We created a set of dedicated “Exam” user accounts for them (around 12), and we store any coursework in the Exam user’s home area. It can be a bit tedious, but we just ask students to place any required work into a folder by a set date. We then move it over and send them the credentials. We used to rely on WordPad, but now we use ExamWritePad instead. There's no Exchange or A1 licence on those accounts, so there’s no way for students to communicate with each other.

To young to see him play but loved him on big break and his commentary was brilliant. 'Where's the cue ball going!!!' will live on for many years.

Hi Jaydee, Yes we found that surprise yesterday but apparently it was told but I never saw the message. On the Nextgen page click the 3 dots on the top of the right hand side and select 'SIMS connected launcher'

Hello, I believe there is also different installation files for stand alone Techsoft. Which I got from the portal but might be the reason it is looking for a school type licence. I just sent the user the files and activation code and they have managed to get on with no issues. Regards Ross

We are aware of an issue impacting SIMS Connected this morning that is resulting in degraded performance and login problems for users. This issue is under investigation as a high priority, and your case has been linked to a Major Case record for this problem. Further updates will be provided via the case when available. We apologise for the disruption. Just got this from SIMS via SchoolsICT. Ross

Soundcraft Ui Mixer - Not connecting
rossibIT replied to rossibIT's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
We have given it a static IP which is on the network range. The wireless device is on a different VLAN so that is why it cant see it. But it is not isolated VLAN so it can see the network. How would you route it on the Smoothwall Network > Routing > Subnets? Regards Ross -
Good Morning all, We have just had Soundcraft mixer installed at my school. We have it all connected but the only way we can connect to the UI is using a networked device. I really need this to be accessed on a wireless device but once I have put the IP in, it just comes up with URL not found. A ping on a wireless laptop also can't connect but can on a networked one. So, this means it is not being seen because it is a local IP? Am I looking at my Smoothwall or Meraki to alter settings to allow this through? Regards Ross

Yes at two sites, plus Smoothwall blocking it due to 'Socket error' Regards Ross
