We have Shure microphones in most schools which are good quality and a bit cheaper than audio technica. We also loan stuff between schools sometimes as they maybe only use a few times a year.

There is a massive difference between primary and secondary use of boards. Teachers in primary use them for everything, secondary and HE not so much.

We've not had those issues but SCOMIS appear to use a different method for mapping the printers.

Scomis provide an MSI for their rdp client and an msi for the driverless printing software. It was pretty easy roll out for us. https://faq.scomis.org/kb9079/

Internet connected cameras connected to cloud storage etc are the way forward but need to be implemented securely. -
I'm in Portsmouth and my schools have our SIMS hosted and supported by SCOMIS in Devon.

We have user with less restrictions that we enable and disable when needed.

I'm fairly sure it's just an app for ios, google etc no windows version.

I'm not sure what you can do as it wasn't something we could get at to change. The only option they gave us was "Google Drive". -
This is the approach we have been taken and found no issues so far.
