    Possibly a silly question but has your Apps and Books (VPP) token expired? This is different from your push certificate.

    With the Windows 10 EOL date being in 2025 by the time Windows 11 releases to the public that would give us less than 4 years to move entirely away from on premise AD and GPOs. Since there are orgs out there still using XP/7 I dont think thats a realistic time frame not to mention the cost of Intune.

    A feature that they should have copied instead. File explorer tabs! How is this still not a thing? The file explorer has remained unchanged since Windows 7 and quite frankly it shows.

    What happens on your PCs? Do they pick up what updates they need but they stick at "downloading 0%"?

    Before a restore can take place it has to be able to verify the version being restored is still signed so I suspect your issue is filtering related.

    You could try a lightning to Ethernet adapter but if accessories are disabled on the lock screen im not 100% sure whether it would work or not.

    You cant device assign books they need to be assigned to an Apple ID. You also cant revoke books once they are assigned to an Apple ID. Best way forward would be to create Apple IDs for your users in Apple School Manager and assign the books to them.

    For that use I would have to agree. Sounds like you would be better off with some cheaper Android tablets.

    A few things but really I suppose its down to personal preference. Having Apple School Manager and a decent MDM is a must.     I usually just hit save on the install app profile without making any changes to force the targeted devices to check for missing apps.

    You would just turn off lost mode again using your MDM. As long as the device has an internet connection it will receive the command.

    Yes you can, just create a new push certificate for Intune. If this is just for testing purposes you could also setup another location in Apple School Manager and upload a separate Apps and Books token to avoid any app deployment conflicts.

    Would highly recommend Mosyle. If you do go down that route Mosyle Premium is a must for the extra features.

    You're right it was everyone should have moved from VPP to Apple School Manager. This happened December last year.
