I think you're overthinking this to be honest. As long as the two DCs can communicate with each other they will replicate. It may be you need to configure your firewall to make this happen if this isnt the case already. You would just join your second server to your domain and then promote it to a DC, everything else is taken care of for you pretty much.

This is a very old machine, not sure what you intend to do with it but I would be shocked if it can run Windows 11. It will be vulnerable due to long being out of support, and since OpenCore would be against the EULA its not something I could recommend here. To fix this you are going to need a bootable High Siera USB, which you will need another Mac to create.

Could it be filtering causing your problems? Does it work if you try to enroll an iPad outside of school? Sorry I cant be of much help it just worked for me.

All browsers on iPadOS use Webkit so if a site supports Safari it will also support Senso Mobile. Just to confirm does your MDM support deploying payloads with your apps? If it does you can deploy the license key and Site ID over MDM. If not you would need to type these in the first time you launch the app which would enroll it in Senso and have it report back to the console.

When you say you enrolled in Intune are you sure you haven't just joined the devices to Azure AD (now called Microsoft Entra).

Would Papercut Hive not be a better solution for you?

[ipad] iPad app to mirror teacher's laptop?
tmoon-mint replied to Koldov's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
I use a VNC server on the teachers PC in view only mode (its open source so any will do) and then VNC Viewer app on the iPad. -
Another vote for the M2 Macbook Air. Best laptop I have ever had by far.

Mosyle Manager - Restrict Safari and Chrome
tmoon-mint replied to timbo343's topic in How do you do....it?
Apple Configurator for iOS is just for adding devices to Apple School Manager and doesnt have the same functionality as Apple Configurator on a Mac. -
I had my car fitted with a Scorpion tracker and immobiliser earlier in the year, it was expensive but worth it. I now get notifications to my phone if the car starts outside of the time frame I would usually use it, if it moves without the ignition running. Those are just a few of the alerts you can setup. For the immobiliser part I have to plug in a key fob for a few seconds before the car will start so cloning the key or using the OBD port isnt going to work. The immobiliser prevents the starter motor and fuel pump from working without the key fob so a bump start isnt going to cut it either. Just for a little cherry on top I have ScorpionTrack stickets in the driver and passenger side windows, just as a "dont even bother trying" message to any thieves.

Hi all, I have just come across a school that has a Google Workspace tenant with Chromebooks enrolled on it. Unfortunately whoever set it up setup an enterprise tenant instead of an Education one so now I cant manage or create any new accounts without coughing up some $$$. Has anyone else been in this situation and if so how did you resolve it. I clicked on support but it was an automated chat with no answer to my question Cheers, Tom

How can I let users check quarantined messages
tmoon-mint replied to tmoon-mint's topic in How do you do....it?
So I have sorted this. Most of the messages being sent to quarantine via exchange rules can be done by Defender instead so I have just changed my setup. Any rules that use a regex like the crypto one still cant be checked and released by staff but to be honest I kind of feel like thats a good thing. -
I would love to be in a position where I have the budget for 16GB of ram for pupils! I cant even stretch to that for staff. Would love to know how you guys manage that on your budgets.

Article: Microsoft: Imagine unlocking your school’s potential
tmoon-mint replied to ZeroHour's topic in Legacy CMS Comments
I got one as a demo unit a while back and I have to say I was impressed. Build quality was very good for a laptop in that price range. It is very much going to depend on your requirements as the lack of compatibility with most UWP and x86 apps will probably be a deal breaker for most. -

How can I let users check quarantined messages
tmoon-mint replied to tmoon-mint's topic in How do you do....it?
The link I am providing is security.microsoft.com/quarantine hopefully this is correct. The emails detected by the Microsoft policies work fine, any quarantined by rule only show up for admins. -
How can I let users check quarantined messages
tmoon-mint replied to tmoon-mint's topic in How do you do....it?
Argh that sucks. I am trying to reduce the number of tickets we get asking for us to check a message to see if its genuine because 9/10 its an obvious phish. This is how my rules are setup. Could anyone share how they do it? -
Hi all, Scratching my head on this one. I have setup a quarantine policy in the MS365 securty centre allowing end users to check their own messages and request them to be released. At the moment they can only see messages that are quarantined by the anti spam policy and not messages quarantined using the exchange rules I have setup (to block HTML attachments, any mention of crypto and dodgy looking links) what am I doing wrong?

Hi all, We have recently switched from RM to Exa for Broadband and since the changed happens the PCs now show "no interent" on the network status icon. I have made a GPO change to turn off the connectivity check however this has not resolved the issue. It is preventing desktop Outlook from working properly. Has anyone come across this before?

BETT 2023 GIVEAWAY - What is your earliest gaming memory?
tmoon-mint replied to VeryPC's topic in Our Advertisers
Ridge Racer! Which was a launch title on the original Playstation. Played it to death as a kid. The soundtrack is nuts too. Racing games are a tad more advanced these days. -
Mosyle - iPad - Passcode - locked out from device
tmoon-mint replied to TwistedHelixis's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
Not set them but you can force the user to set a passcode and specify how strong you want it to be. For the ethernet adapter method, last time I had this issue I found that you had to unlock the device to allow the accessory to connect to your device so in the end a DFU mode restore was my only option. As long as you have automated device enrolment setup the iPad will be back up and running in about 10 minutes only issue is any data will be lost. -
With that many devices it sounds like active directory based activation would work better for you. Activate using Active Directory-based activation - Windows Deployment | Microsoft Learn

If like the OP you are using LTSC then unfortunately there isn't a workaround. You would need to be using Education.
