Hi all, I have been tasked with getting this software setup on a few devices for exams and I am having difficulty. I have followed this guide: Online POP | Pearson qualifications But I am getting a certificate error when I navigate to https://127.0.0.1:8080 Where am I going wrong please? Does anyone have an idiot proof guide for getting this setup in an AD environment (group policy etc). Thanks, Tom

Hi all, I am in the process of getting MFA enforced for a school but a sticking point is the lack of access to a device for some staff / not wanting to install apps on a personal one. My suggestion for this was to provide these users with hardware tokens. Is there a particular type you would recommend? Cost isnt a huge issue I am mainly looking for something easy and reliable. I would contact wherever you purchased them from with the serial number and see if they can add them back for you. If for some reason they cant you can add them back using AC2 but as stated above the MDM profile is removable for 30 days if you use this method so I would try and avoid it if you can.

In the past when I have worked in schools without transparent filtering I have put two shortcuts on the users desktops. They both reference a reg file turn the proxy on or off. Being able to just double click something seemed to be okay for the staff I have worked with.

Depends what version of iPadOS the device is on. Newer versions require you to unlock the device to use accessories like a lightning to ethernet adapter. Wipe and reload sounds like the only way unfortunately.

Thanks for sharing. At the moment I have just hidden IE as best I can using XML files for the start menu and default file associations to get rid of it. I took this approach expecting horror stories from people that removed it but your experience sounds quick and painless.

Afraid not. They have confirmed that the business manager was the only admin and that is who has lost the credentials. The account had MFA setup on it and they dont have access to the phone number anymore either. Absolute nightmare.

Could not agree more. No idea what sort of budgets you guys are working with but Core i5 is almost certainly out of reach for me. In primaries scratch and Purple Mash are probably the most these devices will do so massively overkill. I am not suggesting Geobooks or those god awful Dynabook things by any means, more looking for a good balance between performance and value for money.
