That's what I figured. In the previous round, we were advised that they only needed to be enrolled in an MDM if we already had one in place due to the additional costs involved. Now that they are offering additional funding to support setup, I'd like to know if MDM costs will now be covered.

So are we now required to enrol these new devices in an MDM?

I've just tried to follow the link to the DfE's guide to resetting laptops and seen this: In addition to more devices, the 22 October announcement also ends with this paragraph. I'll be interested to see what that includes.

I didn't forget, exactly, but I didn't include them in the initial quote request; I thought I'd leave it until after the Technical Evaluation was done. We've got Wave9 coming on Tuesday, so they'll give us a better idea of exactly what we'd need. I'm thinking there maybe additional electrical works required, too, as well as a UPS, but I don't know if that will all be covered. The DfE has been really quick at responding, so far, so I'm hoping we'll be able to proceed without too much further delay (stock issues aside).
