HOLD EVERYTHING! FOR THE LOVE OF HUMANITY, DON'T DO THE DRAW! I've figured out the reason for all the time shenanigans. It came to me as I opened the latest door on my Advent calendar. Remember @VeryPC Al's warning? And yet today, on Friday the 13th of all days, the very same @VeryPC Al is planning to do a triple draw Friday - opening not just one, but two doors ahead of time. There is but one penance to appease the Advent gods for last Friday's triple draw. As it is written (somewhere...possibly...):

Gotta say, I'm with @VeryPC Al on this one. I've always thought of it as 'trip' as opposed to 'drip'. I mean, let's face it, it was around the time when everyone was discovering acid again and it was trendy to make casual drug-related double entendres. Edit: BTW @sonofsanta - That Songs of Praise video had me crying with laughter.

What about people with 'pens' in their shirt pockets? As for phones making a click, mine doesn't make a sound when my phone is set to vibrate/silent. Not that I think it's right to secretly record people or anything, just saying that it is easy enough to do if you were so inclined. Got to be honest, though, despite working in IT I do find the willingness of people to forego any idea of privacy for the sake of technology a very scary prospect indeed. Edit: Perhaps that should read 'because I work in IT'.

I did a test install on my Windows 7 laptop and couldn't even get this forum to work properly on it, so I simply rolled back to IE9.
