  1. I use Smugmug for my photos. Get to display is a (protected) gallery then for sharing with family of I want to. (And I'm happy to provide a referral link lol)
  2. Ooooooo, I know of two executive heads where this is gonna be really fun *grabs popcorn*
  3. As a governor I have no problem with this. I do provide IT support for my governor school and just declare that at any relevant point anyway.
  4. I agree that does look interesting. And would save a lot of pain
  5. I haven't seen a solution that doesn't cost - but reflector works well for us in our primary schools. And at a cost of $15 max per license its not expensive. We have a full schools worth of licenses for less than half the cost of an iPad.
  6. Virgin TV with the Sky Sports seems a very expensive way to do it. I only really got Sky for F1 - but we do watch a lot of Sky Atlantic, Sky1, Watch, and other sky channels now. I pay a little more to keep F1 but not require a sports sub like you do as a new customer.
  7. Oh and for recoding Freeview, I always liked the humax devices / UI. Only recent sky improvements have made me like Murdochs offerings.
  8. I've just saved a whopping 50p per month on renewing not Virgin media BB I have Bb + Sim only deal at £29.50 per month. I'm happy to pay this for the quick and rock steady broadband. Switching to fibre and is get about 15-20mb for a similar price. (As I'd need a phone line I don't need for anything else) I also pay Sky for TV - although I don't have sports or movies. I recently negotiated a little deal so I have two HD sky+ boxes with multi room, 4 x Sky Go devices. And still have F1 All in I pay £60 for my TV / BB / mobile needs. We occasionally buy a nowtv sub when they are offer and stream to TV via chrome cast. Currently using a 3 movies movies for £10 deal. There was a £1 for 3 months entertainment deal going around too. So with Freeview, occasional nowTV and *cough* other methods I think you could half your current bill and keep super quick broadband.
  9. Ha ha. I was going to offer him a job!
  10. With this, two bars of chocolate per day and staring at boobs adding 5 years to your life, I'm pretty much immortal.
  11. I think you are correct dos_box. Fine for personal at home (now) Although on reality as long as you weren't sharing the nobody would have batted an eye lid at your DVD collection being stored in your computer at home.
  12. Makemkv then handbrake for me. That gets me a H264 MP4 file compatible with all my devices This is for home use only and for storing my DVD/blu-Rays on media server.
  13. I too have the Samsung H6400 48" and it's lovely. Recently got my mum a 42" H6210 or some such. I think it is 3 Hdmi sockets - updates over air and is responsive (although the firmware it shipped with was laggy) The smart features are excellent although you've said you don't want them. You could always in a Plex server on the PC/mini and use the plex app on the Samsung. Look at Crampton & Moore - it was £299. Even better in you live in South Yorkshire as you can collect from store or warehouse.
  14. I would certainly recommend unifi. We've installed a few in primaries and we've had no trouble at all. Install and forget. The ability to expand and upgrade is great too. And the price is unbeatable IMO
  15. Yep in one of our school we moved from the county to O365. The County were very unhelpful so we just went to nominee direct. While county were supposed to transfer all e-mail they didn't - causing us to do it manually which was a huge pain
  16. Oooooo haters gonna hate
  17. Some incredible engineering. I'll consider getting this instead of an iPad next.

Passport is ready. It'll just just like driving around Dinnington. Only sunnier.

Ha ha. SMASHED it. I would have loved to have seen the faces of the other teams in that run. At this rate I fancy Manor ahead of Mclaren!
  21. As a personal drive I'd be willing to take a punt in the seagate. It'd be great as an archive backup for my media centre files.
  22. Won't the helium filled ones be much more expensive? Unthought the idea with seagate archive line was they were large capacity and cheap!
  23. Marussia / manor wouldn't have been 8 seconds slower. More like half that. Still slow but so what. It's all about the money.
  24. So the big boys look after themselves again and think of money ahead of the sport. The 2014 car would no doubt have been slow - but the 2015 car introduced later in the year is supposed to be revolutionary.
  25. The Ferrari engine does look a whole load better. And the ferrari team seem in better shape. Wouldn't surprise me that they are going for headline lap times though. Merc still looks the car to beat - but I think they'll be a little surprised by how quick the Ferrari can be.
