I have a batch script that was available on the net to deploy office from group policy. I'm going to have a config file for each of my schools (and in one school I have an admin install and a curriculum install) It's just a matter of changing a line in the script after you have created a seperate .mst I can find the script later for you?

Don't suppose you'd be interested in a 103" plasma?..... Got one of my schools considering one

I installed it on my 4s prior to my 6 coming. It wouldn't put it on anything before that. It was okay - but some features did suffer a fair degree of lag

Just read that you'll get write speeds of up to 8x on usb 2.0. For faster speeds you'd need usb 3.

I would have thought USB speeds faster than the optical writing process anyway so won't matter much. I'd use the laptop it'll use memory / HDD to cache / create image first anyway

The early A series had some heat problems but we've not had a problem since. From memory the A series tend to have a longer throw ratio which maybe something you need. I would be happy to put in the a series these days. If you're just replying projector the. This will be cost effective. If you're replacing interactive board AND projector then touchscreens should could less / better value

All good advice as above. We've out the llyama in many schools - wall mount, trolley mount and height adjustable trolley/wall mount so weight isn't a massive issue (the 65" are hefty no doubt) The annoying thing with the llyama is the stupid Vesa mounts. Although that will change on the next model I understand. VGA, HDMI, dvi + more inputs and very nice.

Thanks Dave Support have added some firewall options (at least I think it was support) and I tried tweaking them but without any luck. Did e-mail support but no reply. could do with a web help desk type thing so we all know where we are with an issue Cheers

Human were making user friendly hdd recorders before sky invented it! However the (non human) youview box my mother has is painfully slow. Her standard human hdd recorder was much better. Was never a fan of the sky EPG but over the last year they've really got their act together. Feel like I've been assimilated now. Only got sky for F1. Now watch quite a few different channels.

I've been asked at the last minute to stream some chicks hatching. We already have one! I can get Ustream to work over 3G but not through our school broadband Fortigate / Lightspeed system. Everything seems unblocked as far as I can see. Has anybody used Ustream and can give a basic guide. Or something else where we can use an idevice for the camera and stream ideally to the web? Replaces controller to your boiler and can use a wireless thermostat if you don't have one. Works on RF. There an connection kit to your router (wired) and it does connect to tado services that way. I found it easy to fit myself.

It's not January yet! I installed tado last month. So I can turn the boiler off remotely just in case the wife turns the heating on

Me and my brother went up to derwent valley to watch them fly over the dams. We didn't set off until late but just managed to get to the top of a hill to see them fly down. We didn't quite see them over the dams but when the banked, turned towards us and throttled up it was brilliant We heard them come back and the second pass was much lower!

I find 16gb just a little too small these days. I guess apple kept it as a 'low cost' model (!) but I think from a users point of view, 32,64 and 128gb would be better. I don't really need 64gb at the moment but that's what I went for with the new iPhone. My other devices are 32gb but the kids 16. I guess Apple just want you to stream / use cloud storage.

One of our schools recently moved from lea Internet to a 3rd party - including e-mail. The lea couldn't understand that we wanted ALL e-mail moving across. In the end we spent weeks of not months moving it manually from LEA exchange to office 365 just to get it done. I'm certain that they'd have just deleted it all if we hadn't yelled at them to wait.

Shhhhhh, don't tell the wife that! Seriously I did think that - but I do like the have the latest kit and it was a good excuse to buy a 6 (also sim free). 3 days after I'd ordered it I received a special delivery letter I'd had to rearrange delivery on.... Turns out to be from solicitors regarding purchase of our new house.... With a cheque to me that covered iPhone cost. So happy!! Might consider changing the battery on my 5 soon tho. Ordered a 6. My work phone is a 4S and the battery life now means a charge midday is needed. My personal phone is a 5 which I really like - the size is good for me. Hope the 6 doesn't feel too big

I fact we partner with a company how aren't a 'big manufacturer' and don't have access to TAP. A pain them and us with the requirement to buy Win 7 home for £60 as you said. I'd like to see Microsoft extend the program to other reputable resellers

As above, office, cals and SA make it worth while alone for EES. I understand your point though.
