Copied with an ISO image? I tend to transcode mine to h264 mp4's. I'll maybe leave my favourites without compression / as mkv's though. Current library is approx 1tb - though i haven't done all the tv series I own on DVD. The iTunes server was for appleTV (I hope they have native apps or an Plex channel one day). Tbh I've never used the appleTV or the iTunes server bit. Anyone know of software that will create a 'Time Machine' server on Windows 7?

I ran freenas for a while and it was great. HD a bit of trouble with wol tho. Moved to a windows server for Plex and iTunes. Although never actually used the iTunes bit yet.

It's the thing I remember from stopping at my grandparents house too. Never knowingly used!

I love Plex Have a media server and several clients from TV to tablets. Wife friendly and keeps the kids entertained too. Can be used with both the server and client on a single machine.

We found same tbh. Incompatable with SB560, smartink awful and a resource hog.

PM replied. Tbh there's normally a gap like I said - or still a small hole. Room to room is easy enough. I only have 1 link between down and upstairs and that comes out at the bottom of the stairs so isn't in eye line and is just a tiny bit of cable on the corner. In newer houses with plasterboard walls / cavities it's probably even easier.

Theres always gaps In our house I have a link from a switch in cupboard upstairs and over the stairs. It comes down through floor board and out of the ceiling downstairs then down in the wall to a Switch in the living room under the tv. There's a small bit of cable showing but it's in a place I can box in without anyone knowing. In our house at least I can normally get into cavity between ceiling and upstairs floor boards without major issues Although for the dining room, I'm just going to use power plugs. Why not just buy my house and it's done for you - I'm trying to sell it

Every time we decorate a room, we chase a channel out of the wall - put in some trunking and cat5. Or under the floor. I'm sure my house is held up by cat 5!

If the screen has an additional front glass screen it's possible moisture has got in. It's a horrible design IMO anyway as it makes for a less accurate touch. I've never heard anyone say they've had condensation before. Urgh We did have an old Samsung panel that had marks on the inside - we suspect from the original manufacture.

Most fairly recent chipsets should be able to output that res - at least for testing purposes. It will be an extended display and not mirror of course.

A quick look online and it shows the native res as 1920 x 1080. I'd be interested to see if that helps. After that it's I'm thinkers it's down to the 'sensitivity' - can't remember the term I'm looking for - dot pitch?

It could make a difference. I imagine they are 1920 x 1080 if they're 65" ? If it's mirroring the laptop it's unlikely to be that res anyway. Might not make a big difference but it's worth just testing by using the touchscreen as a 2nd screen at its full res.

A good quality touchscreen shouldn't be like that - ours don't It would be worth checking resolution of the laptop / computer matches that of the native res of the screen.

Absolute cheapest way is some powered USB hubs and all the iPads plugged in. Although I've never done it with 20 devices I'd really try and go or a sync / charge trolley though - we've found very handy. Monarch do decent trolleys though - we've supplied those before

Said to my wife I must get to at least touch the mp4/4. Senna was a hero (although I didn't always like him!) and I agree Lewis is the closest thing we have in terms of natural talent. I loved that Lewis was just like one of us would be - giddy at just sitting in that car!

I just cannot see Kimi at Ferrari - but would have two great drivers. Unfortunately I think that would weaken them as championship contenders - as they'd take points off each other. I wonder if Alonso might make a shock move.....his only option would be mclaren. I would love to see Hulkenburg and Di Resta get a drive in a top team - I think hill at lotus would be a great package. And I'd love to see Ricciardo do we'll as he's such a likeable fella - he won't be allowed to beat Vettel though.

I can recommend Education Lincs - although I suppose it depends where you are in the country to an extent. They are a Apple Education specialist thingy! They give great iPad in the classroom support as well as everything else

Basing my opinion on not having read every minute detail......I don't see a problem if school re happy and getting a good service and the company is happy and making reasonable profit.

We've used NEC - U250x before for ultra short throw 4:3. That model has been superseded though. When we needed support, NEC were excellent.
