I agree with all of those points really - particularly about the show being rushed. The ending itself wasn't bad, just unearned IMO. The whole "Jon going to the Night's Watch" thing I choose to believe was a clever ruse. Grey Worm probably doesn't know much about them, so may not pick up that there's no need for them any more. Therefore all he sees is a traditional punishment. Bran however knows full well, and is effectively "exiling" him to live with his friends in the place he feels most at home - the true North. He knows that Jon won't have to stay there, and can come back whenever he wants. GW goes away satisfied, and Jon gets to opt out of all the politics. The dropped plot threads really really annoy me. I could've written a better ending than this given the number of episodes they used, let alone with a longer series!

I'd also recommend getting a "plain" domain (.co.uk or .org or whatever) as the .sch.uk ones end up three miles long. Good to have, but I wouldn't use it solely, and you can use the regular domain in the meantime. And yes, you'll need your DfE number to register a .sch.uk. As you say, once you're through the pre-opening approval you'll get all of that.

I have no issue with Kyle setting up a media company, or anything else like that. I do however think that such things shouldn't be on TV. I disagree that people know what they are in for. A lot of the people who go on seem desperate (worried about their kids, their relationship, need mental health support, need addiction support, etc.) - desperate people may not always make the best decisions, nor be able to cope with negative consequences. Also, given that people are paid (I believe) £200 to go on the show, that's another perverse incentive for poorer people to whom that sum would make a real difference. It exploits people's vulnerability, whether they consider themselves vulnerable or not. I'm not trying to say that they need saving from themselves, they just don't need to be actively exploited. Also, given that the production team intentionally rile people up when they probably feel like crap and are at their lowest ("You can't go, have you forgotten what she said? Go back out there and tell them how you feel, don't take it!"), I have many doubts about the claims that care and support were good.

Yep. A judge once described it as "human bear baiting" I believe, which I think is pretty accurate. The poor sods who go on these shows need counselling, not mob judgement.

I fully agree that shows like Love Island where people's miseries are paraded for entertainment should be canned as well. I'm not going to shed a tear for one of these shows being treated 'unfairly' - they should all go (I realise that's not what you were saying, but I know some people have been crowing about how 'unfair' it is).

We use roaming profiles and don't have many issues (the odd bit of corruption which has always happened, even way back in the XP days). That said, we could probably switch to local and users wouldn't much care. Might trial it at some point.

In the books her hair does burn off. Not sure why they skipped that given that a skullcap and some makeup can't be that expensive. I also thoroughly recommend GoT just... don't take Series 8 too seriously....

I totally agree about that idea - we thought of another last night. What if Rhaegal hadn't been summarily offed by Euron 'magic trick shot' Greyjoy, and was still around. Cersei "surrenders", and the dragons land (or just stop flying about). Suddenly Qyburn reveals a hidden scorpion battery and kills Rhaegal (why he wouldn't aim for Daenerys herself is another question, but meh). He tries to shoot Drogon too, but misses. Drogon and Dany fly off. Perhaps Drogon is injured, but Dany is flaming mad. One of her children had just been murdered in a fake surrender. To be honest though, your idea is even better. Wildfire goes off, injuring the dragons, but killing lots of people. Dany goes flame happy, but at the end she can quite happily say "Cersei killed as many people with wildfire as I did with dragonfire trying to stop her". There's a nice parallel there, that they may be two sides of the same coin. Instead we got.... Daenerys Stormborn, breaker of chains, mother of dragons, committer of war crimes.

I agree entirely (well, I may disagree slightly about Jaime - sometimes redemption arcs don't take - but I do agree that it wasn't handled well). Also, Jaime killed Aerys II 'Mad King' Targaryen to save King's Landing, and now he "doesn't care about the people"?! Wat? Clearly Weiss and Benioff rushed the ending so that they could bugger off and get that sweet Disney cash for making a Star Wars series. I hope it gets cancelled after the backlash to this, but I doubt it. They think they're hot to trot and big names now, despite presiding over this garbage. The entirety of S8 deserves Dracarys IMO. EDIT: I also have another physics problem. The dragonfire in this episode was able to destroy walls and the ballistae with almost explosive force - as if they were blown apart from the impact force. When have we seen that before at all?! How does that make sense? It's fire, not a bunch of stones flying about!

We do - we filter emails from various regions (that have sent us/previous orgs I've worked with lots of spam). My list is: Argentina, Brazil, China, Kazakhstan, North Macedonia (FYROM), Pakistan, Palau, Portugal, Russia. Filters a few emails a month, so not a huge problem, but you never know when you're going to get a flood. A previous school got, for some bizarre reason, torrents of immigration law related spam from Russia.
