It seems to be working now on one VLAN even though they are all the same. Would it matter than I have another DHCP server on the network, even though it is not on any of the configured VLANs?

I don't have to do anything with Option 60 do I?

Sorry no idea what that was in response to ..... completely misread what you wrote. DHCP is authorised, and firewall completely off. I've looked at that document and generally I've done all of that except the commands aren't available for this switch. No there are other switches, and the DHCP server is plugged into a layer 2 switch. All my test devices are plugged into the layer 3 switch. Like i said, I am able to ping across the switches OK though?

So I have my VLAN setup and I am able to ping from one to the other, however DHCP relay is not working. The DHCP server is on its own VLAN, and the Scopes are created within DHCP to match the ranges of the VLAN. Currently no VLANS get an IP. What type of port should the DHCP server be plugged into? Currently it is on an access port specific to its own VLAN. I have enabled DHCP relay on the switch. I assume it is only the single Layer 3 switch it needs enabling on? Switch is a Dlink DGS-3620.

I presume you are syncing AD with Office 365? The groups need to have an email address assigned to them before it will allow you to share with.

OK the larger users will take longer but once it's set going there is no need to return to the migration to complete it at all. Users will just see there emails starting to appear.

Totally disagree to that. If it wasn't for the fact that you have to wait for DNS changes to propagate then a complete EasyMail to Office 365 is less than 2 hours work. Doesn't matter if your migrating one or 100 mailboxes, as its all based on csv files it is very quick.

All sounds very good but where does this come in price wise to the less than £5 per device Lightspeed costs? Usually Lightspeed are ready on release so bit disappointed they are not with 9.3

I'm sure there is a post on here somewhere about it. Most schools have received the letter now - even some that aren't even using it anymore. Migrating is pretty straight forward but if you need help there are companies out there to do it. Some charge as little as £150 (that's a one off fee) per school

Your not moving the users to a new OU are you?

Mailbox should not be deleted if you disable the user. Should just stop sign in. If you delete user then mailbox will be deleted. I would convert mailbox to Shared and change AD password. Then they can still access mailbox but cannot login to computers

Be aware that currently SDS data is stored outside the EU until fully released

Your not adding users, just changing the existing ones. When you import you have the option to import or modify. Select modify and only the password will change

I didn't think GADS could sync passwords. Are you using GAPS?

Unfortunately this is proving hard than first though. SchoolBroadband seem to be having trouble getting the VPN to Azure working. As such my trial has nearly expired and not had nothing to test out yet! SWGfL have managed to get theirs connected and successfully testing that on another trial
