  1. What filtering system do you use?
  2. No proxy. I am attempting this from outside of the school but the address configured is external so assumed it would work?
  3. DEP has been done by reseller so I have the placeholders in PM. I've enabled DEP, uploaded the cert and then downloaded the one created and imported it.
  4. The ZD may be configured to not allow auto approval do you may need to manually approve the new APs
  5. Hi. I have setup Profile Manager with DEP and the devices are assigned. When I turn on an iPad it detects DEP and goes through the process but sits on "Awaiting final configuration from " and then does nothing. Anyone got any ideas?
  6. I would check with them as I had this discussion recently with them and they could do it and that was for two Somerset schools
  7. SWGfL will be able to do this for you for free
  8. I would remove the .local one else it'll moan that you haven't verified that domain in Office 365
  9. Is the GPO linked to the correct OU?
  10. Sorry you have lost me regarding the bat file. When student logs on GPO will set the desktop location to a share on a server. That's all that is required, no reason to run a bat file
  11. Ah yes, was never great at spot the difference!
  12. I'm struggling to see the difference between the pictures you have posted? Could it be graphic driver related?
  13. Yes the groups should copy with it. Assuming the OU they are stored in is set to sync.
  14. Configure Dirsync to sync the OU which they exist in and then they will also exist in Office 365
  15. The IAMCloud software handle all of it. I don't believe there is a way to do it with the native OneDrive app built into Windows
  16. Bat file? This should all be do through group policy
  17. Might need to give us a bit more info. I've done lots of Office 365 migrations which is cloud but you might be talking about Azure etc which is a different type of cloud
  18. So what is actually happening when users log in? Do you get an error or does it just not work? Anything in eventvwr?
  19. Yes we do this. But we use IAMCloud to map the network drive so the end user doesn't really know much about it
  20. Depends how you look at it. We license 600 copies of office plus have everyone the ability to download at home and it only costs £1k per year. That's around £1.50 per machine per year. Not very expensive at all!
  21. I have had this before. We had the "move content to new location" set but there was a problem with the path and all documents were lost. Luckily we had a backup. I assume you have checked the local profile path and any paths defined on the server?
  22. No looks good assuming that desktop path exists
  23. Just set the folder permissions so your users only have read access. No need to set the files themselves to read only
  24. Isn't this the same as Notebook then in that it needs to be licensed? Or at some point you actually did buy ActivInspire?
