Just a quick one that's got me a bit confused. Our staff use RM Easymail here, which is all browser based. Whenever they get an attachment, they have the choice of Open or Save. If they choose Open, the viewer app (be it word, adobe reader, or whatever) will open but can't find the file. Saving first works fine. RM have an article that says it's a problem with "locally stored temporary internet files" and we followed their instructions to clear them out but nothing changed. Any ideas?

Morning all, We seem to be having an intermittent (aren’t those always the best) issue that effects downloading attachments from WebMail sites, we have tested it with Yahoo and the Rm Easymail sites and get similar results. It doesn’t affect all of our users, but seems to be restricted to Staff accounts. When a user logs into their webmail, clicks on an email and then tries to download an attachment they get the choice to either save or open. I would say 2 or 3 times out of 10 it will work, and the file will download fine, the rest of the time the download box will just display this; http://www.beaufortcs.com/images/webmail.jpg If you have selected Save, it doesn’t ask you where you want to save. It’s as if its waiting for a program or something to tell it what to do. It seems to effect any file type, we have experienced it with .doc, .docx, .pdf, .xls, .xlsx and .pub. It seems to take a second or two to kick in aswel, if you go and download a file as soon as your logged in it might work, but if you leave it a while it won’t. It seems to be effecting laptop users who are off the domain, and domain computers. It might hace something to do with our staff username format (e.g. b.wykeham.33161). We have had issues before with Adobe Premiere Elements not liking the .33161 on the end. I can’t imagine why this causes an issue, but we managed to get around it. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? I apologise if this seems very vague, but I am not sure how else to describe such an intermittent problem!!!

Hi, I can't see this already mentioned anywhere, but apologies if its already been posted. One of the primary schools we support has received a letter from RM saying that Easymail will be dropped and giving the school 60 days to migrate to an alternative. We have quite a few schools still using it, so we're going to have to find some way to get them all migrated to O365 before the end of term. RM will migrate for you, but they'll charge £300 per year (per year seems odd for a single time migration!). It appears if you do nothing, after the 60 days, your access will be revoked and all your email will be deleted. Anyone heard anything about this? Meldrew
