  1. I've done it at several MATs. I went with single domain, single forest. We have a DC in Azure and each school has an IPSEC VPN to Azure so al schools connect to the Azure DC. Because not all schools are with the same ISP yet this allows the schools to be connected at a domain level but not for services like SMB. It also allows us to host other services in Azure. The Azure side costs about £50 per month. It's works very well. Each school as its own OU and then the central team are in their own OU. Most data is stored in O365 so user's that roam sites still have access to their own data. Each site has had to be rebuilt to the new domain but all the prep can be done before the site is started to minimise the amount of work required at the school
  2. The settings you mention you have set are for disabling the creation of Distribution group, not Office 365 groups. Office 365 groups has to be done by Powershell.
  3. http://www.arriseverywhere.com/2017/02/arris-to-acquire-ruckus-wireless-and-icx-switch-business/
  4. Just had an email informing that ARRIS are buying the Ruckus business unit from Broadcom.
  5. Or add it as an application then just call the application via the TS
  6. Does anyone have the Clicker 5 update files to hand? The disk I have is 5.0 which does not work with Win7 so I need to update to 5.2 but Clicker no longer support it and no longer have the files available on their website
  7. Best would be ZuluDesk is my eyes. But it'll cost £7 per device per year
  8. You pushing this start menu out to client via the Start Screen GPO? Would love to see the xml you use if you are
  9. In fact what ever you do not connect them to L2 otherwise you will send live down the neutral when switched on
  10. I would say the black should be connected to the other blues in the block. L2 is only needed for two way light switches.
  11. So looks like all the lives are all connected which would suggest the lights would always be on The neutrals are continuously connected but the Lives should go through the switch. Live in and out on the ring should go into the Common on the switch. The live to the lights should be wired into the other terminal. Therefore the rocker makes the connection when switched on
  12. I'm struggling to see why you have 4 cables behind the light switch? [Edit] Unless each switch controls 2 lights?
  13. Never used 7Zip to do it personally so insure
  14. Yes, as long as the files are not required by the OS Mount, delete, commit and unmount.
  15. I do it without problem but I call it via a batch file, rather than having the command in the TS. I put the command in the batch and import as an application and then run the application as part of the TS
  16. Does anyone know the standard warranty that is included with a Surface Book whether it is onsite? I can't find anything which states if it is or not.
  17. Isn't there an issue with deploying Office 365 rather than VL in that each time a user logs in it will activate that machine and count as one of their 5 licenses. If the user uses different machines all the time then the sixth machine will not activate until one machine is removed from their license count?
  18. Don't you have to use the /s switch to shutdown? Or /r to reboot. I though shutdown by itself did nothing
  19. Ditto, not really sure why you would want to get rid assuming it is running already without issues. But removing is very easy. Just disable via the web gui and then that its. Even the client can stay installed it will just give errors
  20. Are all the settings within the ZD set to use DNS and not IP? There are normally redirect pages and these should be set to DNS not IP
  21. Have you deleted and readied printer since changing language?
  22. Raise a ticket with support and they will verify it for you. They may need you to answer some questions. They normally call within an hour but I never answer so it forces them to email.
