  1. When you say Primary, you man untagged?
  2. What has to be tagged and untagged to get the pass through port on a IP phone working on a different VLAN? Say for example, phone is on VLAN 100 and computer needs to be on VLAN 200 TIA
  3. I will soon have 3x JH145A and 3x JH146A for sale. Each comes with 2x SFP+ fibre modules. Just wondering what sort of price I could be looking to get for these, and if anyone is interested? I was considering a price around £500 and £700 depending on the 24 port or 48port model
  4. Most Sherston software will run by copying the files locally, then just update the sherston.ini file to provide the correct paths.
  5. Do I just need to save this as a .vbs or do I need some client side IAutoIt installed first?
  6. Yes they would change their interface to a /30 (or /29 if there is a failover backup line as well) Then you set you Core interface to the same /30 subnet (obviously different IP address) They then create a static route back to your core.
  7. If you can, get the ISP to create a new subnet on a second router interface. Allows you to setup and test everything before rolling out. I’ve just done the exact same things and I am able to fully test everything with temporary switches and servers.
  8. What’s the permissions on the GPO? Can you show us a screenshot of the GPO settings
  9. We have a page that redirects directly to SB’s where they host the certificate. Users just join WiFi, go to ca.website.com and the certificate downloads
  10. I can silent install the full Pro package, but I only want the client. Does anyone know a silent switch to only install the client?
  11. I’m not an overly active member on these forums and I certainly take more than I give in terms of advice, so please don’t be offended if this plug doesn’t seem right..... ....but my daughter was born with a heart defect 4 years ago. She has had open heart surgery at 18month but will need treatment long into her adulthood. My wife is doing a charity skydive with some colleagues to raise money for one of the charities that have helped us and many other families over the year. So my simple plug is to her Just Giving page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/rachael-harrison14 and say that any donations are gratefully received. I know a lot on here do great things for charity already so keep up the good work!
  12. This must create hundreds of groups and/or distribution lists?
  13. I agree it would be unusual, but the error message would suggest the file is blocked. I have in the pass emailed shortcuts to myself which causes this issue
  14. Who said it wasn’t downloaded from the internet?
  15. Have you tried my suggestion?
  16. Try unblocking the file. Right click -> Properties and there should be a button to say Unblock.
  17. Don’t you need a special Azure AD premium subscription to be able to assign licenses based on groups?
  18. Interested in what you mean by locking down Pupils? I’m hiding the c: drive, disabling Settings but that’s about it
  19. Would be interested to know what Policies and Powershell scripts you are deploying. I’m working on this now for a 1:1 primary. I’ve got it working the way I want, but a few tweaks to be made. I’m waiting on 1903 to fully test OneDrive. I currently have it signing in automatically instantly and redirecting known folders, but want to force mapping of SharePoint sites which I think I need 1903 for.
  20. That’s sounds promising. Let’s see if @Netsweeper can contribute
  21. I know others such as Lightspeed can easily authenticate against Google, so I can’t see AzureAD being much different just that no one has done it yet.
  22. In the process of setting up Azure AD and Intune. Due to open a new school later this year and am looking at solution so we can have zero servers. Just looking for a filtering product that can authenticate against Azure AD. @SchoolsBroadband - Can inline Netsweeper do this? Also interested if Smoothwall is able to do this.
  23. We sell a lot of Cambium now. Very good product, and I would always go for the cloud management rather than hosting yourself. A lot of Ruckus ex employees went to Cambium
  24. Then put all the cameras and nvr on the new VLAN can just link them up via the network. No need to run each camera back to the nvr directly. If the nvr doesn’t support all the cameras then you can have multiple nvr.
  25. Do you have VLANS setup across the campus?
