Morning all. Facing a real problem here, we recently moved into our brand new school, we had a network consultant team configure all the network for us and then they handed it over to us. I assumed the Macbook's would be added to the WiFi, turns out they are not. Our WiFi has a completely different infrastructure now, there is not a WiFi key. 2 security groups in AD called WiFiStaff & WiFiStudents and you edit the 'member of' with the computer/mac name in AD. This has worked fine for our Windows laptops, but as I said, having a real problem with the Macbooks. I'm stuck on the log on screen, and I can see the WiFi signal bars at the top (greyed out) and I can't add the Macbook's onto the Student WiFi myself on the Yosemite log on screen. Any help is really appreciated it, as student's are now unable to use these. http://s2.postimg.org/eir02aa2h/sig.png

If you are using WDS you can inject the display drivers using the GUI or the Windows Deployment toolkit. Here is the guide I use, always works. PeteNetLive - KB0000218 - Adding / Injecting Drivers into Windows PE 3.0

Morning all. Past few weeks, been experiencing a lot of internet issues which is now causing many of the staff to lose patience. The issues start about 9am and last throughout the day, the main one is page loading times increasing to an average of 6 seconds. When the internet does slow down, I have ran a few speedtests and we are still getting around 70mb down and 75mb up. Here is our traffic between 9am - 10am this morning. I've kicked the usual suspects of the video streams and games, but still doesn't improve it. A part of me is saying a hardware fault somewhere down the lines, but I'd have no idea on where to start troubleshooting. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Have you tried delprof?

The problem isn't IE11, would these templates still do the trick for IE9?

Already configured for Computer configuration.

Don't have any Windows 8 machines, I could image a spare laptop though. We won't get 2012 until September when we move buildings.

Yeah it's fine hard wired in mate. - - - Updated - - - I'll have a look at un-installing once the staff have gone home, thanks mate.

Do I need to run the gpresult for a specific username or just a general one? Already tried that reg key through a logon script. This is how it has been setup in GPO. I'd say around 20-30 laptops log on, only 1 AP in each room. Using HP ProCurve MSM335 Access Point.

Through GPO mate, just had a look at the server we manage Group Policy on and it has IE11 installed. I've lost IEM since Windows Update decided to install IE11. Should I remove IE11, IE10 so I have IEM back?

Afternoon all. For about a year now we have been experiencing a strange little problem. It doesn't happen all the time and it only happens on laptops/netbooks (on wireless). Students will log onto the system and get a "go.microsoft.com" homepage instead of the homepage what has been set, and also the proxy settings boxes are not configured, so this means we have to input proxy settings on about 30 laptops when the lesson starts. But sometimes it only does it on a handful, that is why it's strange. With a bit of browsing around google, and other forums it seemed like IE11 was the initial problem, but the laptops have IE9 installed so I wiped that out the situation. Appreciate any help guys! Thanks.

+1 for TeamViewer -
Would defiantly recommend WDS route. Will assist you if you need help with VM on a MAC and getting WDS setup.

Trying to build a TOSHIBA SAT PRO NB10-A-10P with Win 7 PRO 64 bit
IAMCloud_Curt replied to Jasbo's topic in Windows 7
Jasbo, you say you have trouble with WDS and your TOSHIBA laptop. Have you injected the NIC drivers into the WDS server? -
We experience this all the time. Personally I think it's nothing to do with start-up repair. The way to solve it is simple. Just follow this link below, I have uploaded a short guide (PDF) format. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9n5idAVSIeNQi1BYV9DeHpTaWs/ Any problems, just @ me.
