Hi all, As always, I prefer to share an idea on here as I appreciate there are many of you what have tried and experimented with things in the past and have produced a working solution or you can give me the best feedback possible. Currently looking at designing a 3-year plan and basically, I would like to invent new ways of making student/staff's day-to-day tasks easier. I am starting with Project #1 - Revamping our intranet for one of our high schools, which eventually will flow down our MAT and get deployed into our other schools. As part of this new Intranet platform, I want to integrate our O365 system into the new intranet, and use features such as MS Classroom, OneDriveFBusiness, and much more things MS has released the last few months, which I think will benefit our students and I could create something they could benefit from. The main thing I wanted to discuss was the migration over to One Drive, and how to go about mapping users OneDrive's as a drive letter. I have previously configured AADSync with Azure and it's running nicely, and syncs AD passwords to be same as their email password. I want to take that a step further, and get them using the One Drive, the way I see it is, it's such a ball ache to open your emails/MS products and open documents that way. Instead, I want users to get a drive map for One Drive and they save/open work that way. Now, I know the current release of AADSync doesn't support what I am trying to do, so I looked into ADFS and doing it that way. So, what I am looking for is; - Has anyone accomplished this? I know it can be done (https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/office/OneDriveMapper-automaticall-d7d498b0#content) - Feedback from your users when migrating over to One Drive? - Guide to setting up ADFS/SSO? - Did you use a wildcard SSL for ADFS domain? - Recommend Srv2012 or 2016 for this? Just had a thought - when naming your PC at the start of the Task Sequence, does that PC already belong in your domain? If so it will need deleted prior to running your MDT task. Just remembered we had issues where PC existed it domain and caused task to freeze half way through. Let me know if this sorts.

In your bootstrap/mdt.ini files does your service account you are using have permissions to put workstations on the domain? I created a MDT_SVC user in my domain and made it a domain admin, had no problems after that.. Just make sure you tick "password never expires" Let me know

I have tried copying delprof2.exe to Workstations C:\ which is has completed on a test workstation.. cd c:delprof2.exe /u /q /i /ed:Administrator /ed:Public /ed:Default I have also tried \\mydomain\netlogon\delprof2.exe /u /q /i /ed:Administrator /ed:Public /ed:Default

Hi, Trying to get to the bottom of this as it doesn't always work. I want delprof to run either on log off or start up, I don't really mind. I am currently testing this within my Test OU and it deletes some profiles but not ALL profiles that I have stored on the C:\Users I have deployed the script via GPO and tried Log Off Scripts and also Start Up scripts (not at the same time) Any ideas why it doesn't delete every user profile? I have set exceptions up for Administrator/Public/Default as I don't need delprof to run on these. Could anyone share their knowledge on this one, or even share your script/gpo setup to see how yours is different. Shed some light, please. Thanks all!

Hi all, Certificate about to expire Certificate (value='Dummy Server Certificate'), (value='RADIUS EAP') will expire on (value='2017-04-09 15:40:06'). Certificate about to expire Certificate (value='Dummy Authority'), (value='RADIUS EAP') will expire on (value='2017-04-09 14:48:53'). Had these 2 warnings on my MSM this morning, any ideas on how I can replace them with new certs - or extend them? Thanks

Not to do with MDT, you need to export your boot image from WDS, and inject the drivers into your WDS boot image then re-import it.

Ok, try injecting the net drivers into your WDS boot image. You can use dism offline, you'll need to mount your image then inject the drivers that way. I'll try find a guide for you, but you can google "Offline dism inject drivers wds"

What are you deploying your TS too, a laptop or desktop?

I think mine was NTFS permissions on the DeploymentShare$ - it's been a while. I did manage to fix it though, have you installed Windows 10 AIK kits and updated your deployment share, and put a new boot file into WDS?

Unstable in what way? It's hosted locally off your Mac server mate. It should be https://*insert your mac server fqdn*/profilemanager Login with your server admin account

Workgroup Manager isn't compatible with 10.11 mate, on your server do you have the Profile Manager service enabled and configured?

Office 2016 I found was really buggy! Can you run Microsoft Auto Update on one of your Macs and try updating all the Microsoft products. Also what version of Mac are your clients running? 10.11 by any chance?

What version of Office are running? What version of Mac server are you using? Are your Macs binded to Open Directory aswell or using Profile Manager? Sorry for the interrogation, I'm just visualising your setup mate.

Thanks for your comment mate. I moved to Profile Manager yesterday, created Device Group, just need to enroll 120+ iMacs now and should be hopefully sorted, as for the sidebar script, do you place that into Login Items?
