Install daemon tools....mount the image and then copy them out of the virtual CD drive nrg is the Nero imago format so you'd probably need nero to write it to a disk, i've not heard of any other CD/DVD burning software that will work with nrg files.

Memory leaks is a small price to pay (and probably a patched fault by now!) for not having to use a crappy browser like IE. I only use IE for exchange. But yh it could be something to do with geolocation. Who knows? (aside from the google guys obviously)

YAY!!!! I'm not an utter moron after all. (debatable i know ) I've also remembered that i only recently started telling firefox to remember my username and pass for my gmail and JZNet.org.uk e-mail accounts. That'll be why it does it now.

That never used to happen............ Showing my increasing age obviously....apologies. When i first started using google as my home page it hadnt used to.

Have you tried ebay? They usually come up trumps for stuff like that. Or alternatively these guys might be able to get you one. http://www.richardscctv.com/

My god you're a complicated person! What i mean is that my home page is google.co.uk. Not google.com. How do you not get this?! LOL

google.co.uk.....not .com. What's hard about that :S

The way I understand it a subnet mask of 255.255.224.0 will allow you to have from 192.168.0.1 up to 192.168.31.254 without requiring routers. There are 5 bits being borrowed from the third octet to add to the number of hosts. So if you borrow 5 bits that's 0-31 (if you add the 1,2,4,8 and 16 that you're borrowing). That is the way we did it on CCNA 1 so that machines with a differing third octet in their ip addresses could communicate without using routers. Please note that i could be quite wrong seeing as i'm out of practice.

@Midget...I wasn't refering to mormons when i said more apostolic orders. I was refering to apostolic orders of the RC church. I've never had a mormon come to the door...i've had jehova's whitnesses wake me up. Now...you should NEVER wake a student. I kept them talking whilst they were stood in the rain...mean, but if they hadn't woken me up have just said that i was catholic and not particularly interested.
-
Midget, you could argue the exact same points for Catholic missionaries, you could maybe also argue the latter point about door-to-door stuff for the more apostolic orders, not that you see them much in the UK. I think that if _Bat_ feels that he wants to do this then good on him! I dont think i could manage it, so if he feels that this will enrich his life or help him to grow within the community of his curch, then cool It's not really our place to put him down for it or question his decision.

I can agree with russdev there. Writing will improve your grammar and spelling. Being a pedant also helps, of course. The assignments you will have to do at uni / college or wherever you go next, if education is your path of choice, will also help.

If you're that bothered why not just type it out in a word processor first and then copy and paste it back Far easier. OR get a linux installation running gnome and it'll spell check it for you automatically (or so i've noticed)

Here it is. The new EduGeek logo.

- Too much black if you're printing it. - It could stand to loose the www, cause who actually says that? - Maybe keep the bit we've already got with the cursive "Edu". I like the geek bit and the angel over the .net. Very "Simon Templar" (ref: The Saint). Text at the bottom is fine too. -
...and engineers can't spell... (yes i'm doing a BEng...and no i can't really spell)

Cuisine is the noise the blender makes surely?

I'm with tech_guy on this one....except....not so much with the prostitution thing. Maybe replace prostitution with, i dunno...gin or something.
-
You could replace the joomla default favicon.ico (or whatever it's called i forget) with your own custom one?

"Well it was working this morning!" Said within earshot of the head of VI Form who did NOT take that too kindly. Never mind that I wasnt talking to her or about her laptop. I was actually responding to a question that someone else asked me about "when was the printer working last?"

I agree with StewartKnight.

Why Following a Satnav Can Be a Bad Idea!

If not a little muddy and single. -
The way i understood it...if you gave someone full rights on a folder....they could delete it? So giving users full rights on their home dir at \\server\share\%USERNAME% would mean they could delete it. I could well be wrong and probably am. Can anyone clear this up for me?

Thing is though...techies dont really have any reason or cause to thank teachers...but teachers do to thank techies.
