Given that they use the same verb, it sounds more like this to me: I'm a bit ambivalent towards the B5 though, as I'm not a fan of that style of animation. I'd rather read it as a novel, but will give it a go.

Mme LeMarchand will be disappointed, as she much prefers physical media. I'm not fussed as most of my listening these days is on Spotify (apparently I listened more than 94% of UK listeners last year). As people have said, it's a PITA when they drop tracks or don't have them and you can't rely on stuff being available forever, but I think I've found a way to add in missing ones - just need the time to organise it! I just hope that, if they do fold, there is enough notice to take a list of my library. I'd hate to have to go back to physical media, if only from a storage space pov, or even mp3s, though I have bought downloads from bands I like who don't release to Spotify, as it's more effort and a lot less convenient. Plus there are bands/tracks I'd never have found without Spotify.

I was trying to find out who the voice-over was from (Carl Sagan, apparently) and came across a piece on the trailer and how it made sure to put its "megastars" Benedict Wong and John Bradley in. Not sure that Mr Wong is a "megastar", but must be nice for John Bradley to see himself described thusly.

I know writers are low down the pecking order in Hollywood, but "from the creators of Game of Thrones" - I think that George RR Martin would beg to differ about GoT and poor old Cixin Liu/Liu Cixin (the author of the book 3BP) doesn't even get a mention in the trailer.

Started in on Black Mirror Season 6. After an intriguing start, I was wondering where "Joan is Awful" could go, but it picked up once the "real" Salma Hayek appeared and turned into a rare "fun" episode for the show. Wasn't so keen on "Loch Henry", as I already had an idea where it was going (maybe people less familiar with some of the tech might not see it). While the "We're not gonna need the lemon juice" scene was chilling, the biggest shock came this morning, when I learned the barman friend was Podrick from "Game of Thrones". I did like the links between the two eps (and other episodes) though.

I think you'll struggle to find a fully remote school placement. Even in Lockdown 1 I was expected to be in. (Hence I had no sympathy for all those "I had such a struggle keeping occupied during lockdown" articles). IME schools do actually need some degree of on-site in that things get broken or go wrong, or not plugged in etc etc etc, and need hands-on attention. Plus a fair amount of "hand-holding" is "needed" by staff. If you find somewhere and they have more than one vacancy, please post here; I'm sure there will be lots of interest if the pay is right!

Hey - it's a musical! I keep getting songs from bands with the same or a similar name to ones I like in my Release Radar such as rap band CULT while I like The Cult (rock band).

I'm in a similar situation but with 3 sites. Mainly because I know that my heads likely won't and that if something goes wrong I know who will be the scapegoat, I'm doing what I can and plan on sending out an as-concise-as-I-can-make-it spreadsheet with the requirements, colour-coded (Green=Done, Amber=Needs to be done with timeline, Red=Needs to be done now) and with guesstimates for costings and/or what can be done in-house (like training). That way I have something I can produce to prove that I have given as much info as possible because I know very little is likely to change, mainly due to costs, but also due to apathy and not wanting to upset the poor widdle staff who are used to their routines. (Seriously, there are some practices that I have pointed out are very bad, but that are shrugged off).

Been watching Westworld of late, though this is true of any Western, where it always looks scorching and the desert is never far away: Ladies, unless they work in the saloon, dress in a long dress or skirt/blouse combo (and presumably basic undergarments and maybe a corset for the richer ones). Maybe a little warm, but bearable (I assume, never having worn such an outfit). Men, apart from the richer ones who favour what looks like lighter weight materials, have a thick long johns, thick shirt, thick waistcoat, thick jacket, thick/leather trousers and possibly a duster coat. How do they not collapse in the heat?

Finished Season 2 of Westworld, which managed to make some sense of the timelines etc (though I still think it was unnecessarily complex). Not sure that the appearance of Akecheta's lady made sense (though it did make me very happy), nor the shot of Teddy at the end. At times I was wondering if I'd inadvertently started the final episode, as it did feel like an "ending". Looking forward to seeing where the show goes now, and hoping the reset button won't get pushed. Glad I watched the post credit sequence, as I was wondering how the heck that character could take so many hits! As Black Mirror starts again tomorrow, it may be a while before I get to Season 3.

SMT would never do that. That looks like a possibility, thanks. Of course they probably won't pay out a few quid whilst moving interactive panels because teachers want to mark their territory is fine.

At the beginning of term, we had three "supply" laptops and chargers ready for use in the school office. Got a call yesterday to say that one was needed for use, but the two in the office needed chargers. One had appeared by the time I got in this morning, so I went for a search. Found the missing machine (with charger) in a class that hasn't been used this school year, but not the missing charger yet. Also found in various "Teacher" rooms assorted piles of laptops, iPads, Chromebooks and various other chargers. Getting a bit sick of this, especially as the SMT attitude is to shrug it off when the school is really struggling for cash, so want to find a way to semi-permanently attach the chargers to the laptops. Best I could come up with so far is which isn't much of a deterrent - and I have vague memories about coiled power leads being bad. Anyone got a better solution, bearing in mind that SMT support will be non-existent?

The third hurdle is also a bit of a PITA. Those paragraphs don't seem to be the right ones, unless I'm looking at the wrong document.
