As Mme LeMarchand hails from colder climes (The Midlands), I'm normally the one who feels the cold. Recently, though, it's been me at night (sandwiched between her and the cat) and I've been warm on the sofa while she's wanted the blanket.

They've already announced they're addingr a second season with Geralt of Hemsworthia. Of course, that's no guarantee they'll do it.

Luckily, never had to wear tie in EDU. Still "smart business", but as even the male teachers rarely seem to bother, I'm pushing the boundaries slowly. I did use to quite often voluntarily wear a tie but the few times I've done so of late (weddings/funerals), I've found them incredible constricting.

Decided to break out the shorts and T shirt at the weekend. Was actually slightly chilly on Saturday and cracked Sunday lunchtime and changed, though I did have to change back after some activity. I have been sleeping on top of the covers, but this is mainly due to a cat who loves snuggling up. Only had the back door open for the cat, as it's not been too warm in the house (though Friday night's washing was almost dry Saturday morning). At work, I've yet to need to open doors/use the fan at my main site - though I have taken my jacket off. Suspect that a fan will be needed where I am this afternoon and tomorrow. I do prefer it warm, though.

As much as I lovedthe first season of Westworld, I hadn't seen more than the first couple of eps of S2 as Mme LeMarchand finds it too violent. As she's been away looking after her sick aunt, I've managed to make good headway into S2. I was finding the time periods thing a bit OTT and unnecessarily confusing and felt that they were trying to string out the mysteries (and their answers) for too long, though the show still gripped. However, I loved Episode 8, the one with the backstory of The Ghost Nation's Akecheta, absolutely brilliant and a heartbreaking. It even managed to answer some questions!

Got around to this last night, and that vid does sum up its problems. On the plus side, its beautifully shot - it makes a pleasant change to get away from the murk that many films seem to be shot in. However, it really doesn't make any sense. It would also have been better as an episode of an anthology show, pared down to the bone and faster moving; maybe the audience wouldn't have time to see the flaws.

I try to check my tyres at home fairly regularly and have often found them over-inflated after new ones have been fitted. Maybe people do it for a "new car" feel?

We had a slight Covid-enforced restructure with wfh. Now, despite evidence that productivity didn't suffer, big bosses are wanting people back in where they can be lorded over and middle management, no doubt seeing that they aren't actually needed, are supporting this.
