We have trend. I think if you spend more you can just have a server people connect to via we browser. Depends on how your boiler is connected to the PC/network. Are you using sccm software updates? Some updates trigger a double reboot. You shouldn't need to activate to capture. If you can activate non domain PCs your kms must be set up fairly insecure.

The MSI just runs a exe I think its the same MSI product code which will cause fun and games. Also if you leave the auto updates on I don't know if chrome will uninstall properly.

For those with slow times on win7 x64 we also get the preparing desktop for ages. Seems to be ie4unit.exe winmail and the TCP connection to the DC. Still not found the solution.

2012 r2 wds and MDT. When you add the drivers for your new laptop model. MDT will add the nic drivers to your boot image. Just use wds for pxe boot and maybe multicast if you are feeling brave.
