    Sounds like you need something paid for and with support. Smoothwall or Bloxx are probably the way forward. However it all comes down to money.

    I found .net and office updates can't be injected. Automating your build and capture seems the best approach.

    You van just disable the folder redirection part of uac. If the user doesn't have modify permissions it will just fail.

    Capture should be done a virtual so it's driver neutral. Hyper V ideally.

    I had to enable a GPO setting about not displaying the users start menu. Why do Microsoft make it so complex.

    I'm currently testing. Login time seems to be the biggest Issue. Also user policies being applied.

    OK we are using YouTube for schools. A straight link like when whitelisted does not work. A link like &list=PL&index=1 works. Has anybody had any experience of this? The problem is that embed players don't seem to support youtube for schools. Anybody know of a fix?

    Is the filtering a proxy with authentication? I know iTunes can't work with an authenticated proxy.
