Yes I had it working on mountain lion. I then updated to Mavericks then El capitan and everything stopped working. So I blew away the server and reinstalled everything in El capitan 10.11.15 At this point I also vlan out my lab computers. Ever since that things haven't worked.

So I don't need any ip helpers on my switches that the clients are connected to, just the router sub interfaces that I have set for the vlan?

I checked and I didn't see anything in the config that would be blocking traffic.

gateway is the IP address of the subinterface I created on my cisco router.

I already did all that. I added the ip helper to each switch that the vlan is on. The ip helper is pointing to the netboot server. I also created a deploy studio Bootable usb Bootable drive. When I use that I get request timed out when trying to connect to server. What's weird is I can ping the server and the server can ping the client.

no the netboot server is not the DHCP Server.

I'm trying to netboot into deploy studio across vlans and am having some trouble. Looking at the logs this is what I see. Any help would be appreciated. I have IP Helpers on my switches pointing to my netboot server. okay so I think I found my mistake. On the switch that the clients are plugged into I didn't have the ip helper address entered for both the dhcp and wds server.

That is what is exactly happening to me, only I'm losing my IP address when it goes into the MS Solution Accelerators screen.

So before I left work I added the drivers to the wds boot image. When I pxe booted and got to the task sequence it failed again with the same error. This time though when I did an ipconfig the machine received a request. I also tested a ping to the MDT server with success. Tomorrow I will verify if I can manually map a drive to the deployment share of the MDT server.

should I also add those drivers to the wds boot image?

I'm having some issues getting my machines to image correctly. I'm pretty sure I have the vlan side of things figured out. I followed this thread http://www.edugeek.net/forums/enterprise-software/157848-issue-mdt-wds.html and added in both the IP helper addresses. What I'm running into is when I get into the task sequence of MDT I get the following error. Now that all makes sense because if I do an IPCONFIG /ALL I see the machine doesn't have an ip anymore. What I don't understand is why does the machine lose it's IP address? It grabbed the correct one when PXE booting from WDS. I also added the drivers for the machine I'm testing everthing on updated the deployment share, then replaced the image on WDS.

So I had a user ask if it's posisble to print from a Kindle Fire. Of course I told her she could and now I'm tasked for showing her how to print. Not a big deal really. What I'm finding disturbing is that when I go to print from the Kindle Fire I can see all the HP printers on my network due to the HP Print Service Plugin. Does anyone know how to block the printers from being viewed by this plugin?

Thanks Nick. I'll have to take a look at it and see if I really need it in my environment. Are you able to keep flash, java,etc updated using it?

Nick what kind of server to you deploy SCCM on? Do I need a work horse for it or will a simple server with 500gb hdd with 10gb ram do?
