  1. Thank you David We use this in one of our secondary schools. It is really good, but it is the cost that is prohibitive. We want to use it in primary schools for one small project that only lasts for a few weeks.
  2. Evening all A long time now post! We have recently moved from iPads to Chromebooks and Chrome tablets as an organisation. A lot of our schools used iMovie on iPads to create videos. I am looking for something we could install on Chrome devices, either web-based or Android apps. Does anyone have any suggestions? Like all schools, it would be nice if it was as free as possible. Many thanks Ant
  3. I want to document everything so if I have to migrate another school in the organisation, it would make it easier and quicker to complete.
  4. Morning all We have recently migrated to Google Workspace for email, etc.. To help in the future I want to document all the various settings that have been applied. Has anyone found an easy way to do? Many thanks Ant
  5. John thanks for the suggestion but I already have this set.
  6. Afternoon all With it being Christmas, I am hoping for a miracle ! Over the last 4-6 weeks, we have been experiencing issues sending emails to Google and Google hosted accounts. It was working one day and then the next not! We host our own Exchange 2010 server and have done for many years. When we send an email to Google we get the following bounce-back; mx.google.com rejected your message to the following e-mail addresses: 'Anthony Short ([email protected])' ([email protected]) mx.google.com gave this error: [82.16.27.51 12] Our system has detected that this message is likely unsolicited mail. I have done loads of testing with MX Toolbox and I get positive results back. I have registered and been verified by Google's own Postmaster service. I am on no spam lists at the moment. I have checked all out going traffic and all SMTP is coming from our exchange server. I have also followed the Google Bulk Sender best practise stuff too. We have an SPF record but we do not use DKIM or DMARC polices. First has anyone else experienced any of these issues with Google recently? Obviously, if you have and have managed to solve the problem or if anyone else knows of anything please could you point me in the right direction? Many thanks Ant
  7. Your dates are correct but just imagine every school on the old system needing doing! We are having ours done this summer.
  8. By computer using security groups in ad
  9. We are using the meru controller with Microsoft nps for authentication
  10. Right I am having an issue with Windows 7 laptops that keep losing\forgetting their Wi-Fi details. We use GPO to deliver our Wi-Fi details using Computer Configuration\Policies\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Wireless Network (802.11) Policies. We also have a certificate delivered by GPO to so we can use that for authenticating clients. We use NPS on Windows 2008 R2 and Meru Wi-Fi and controller. So this happens totally at random with any of the 150+ laptops we have on site. A laptop is unable to find the login server. A pupil will bring the laptop to us. The only way we have to remedy this is to connect the laptop to the network using a CAT5e cable. You login as administrator and then run GPupdate /force. Reboot the laptop and disconnect from the wired network. The laptop will then work no problems. You could say doing this is not a great hardship but it is now almost becoming a daily occurrence with multiple laptops. Has anyone else experience this problem? If so, did you find away around this? Many thanks Ant
  11. 2014 revolution cross sport for the commute and a 2013 specialized secteur sport for the weekend
  12. Turnitoffandon - Friday and Saturday
  13. We are in the same boat too! Going to cost £24k to upgrade to the new notes! Don't get new budget until September. Then everyone will wanting it and we will be left waiting in the queue. I found out when I wanted to purchase a new bio reader in October. Having to look at the prospect of other systems even though nrs is really good.
  14. Look at your network drivers. We had an issue with the lightspeed client forgetting who was logged on the computer after a while. If you did a reboot, it would then work. So we updated the Intel drivers and it worked.
