Schools Broadband In-line Filter down?
Edu-IT replied to snagrat's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
Not saying the service is acceptable but if a patch applied to Netsweeper has resolved this, doesn’t it suggest it’s Netsweeper? If it wasn’t their issue why would they have given it so much time and effort and not just passed it back to SB? -
What happens when all the parents fill it in knowing full well they aren’t entitled? £10 for a 1000 NOR is costly. Just wondering?

We didn't have Lesson Monitor and still wrote back AM/PM. The other lessons were recorded in the database of the web based system only.

If the Ring system doesn’t work out, I’d say Texecom Premier Elite too.

By not well thought of, does he mean reputation? If it does the job for the school what does it matter what others think?

Who is the provider for your channels?

You need the backing of SLT and they should know better than to encourage the use of personal emails. Trouble is, they probably won’t until it’s too late by the sounds of it. Do you have a Safeguarding Governor who you could send your concerns to? I mean, you could get it to them anonymously I’m sure if you so needed to.

I happened to stumble across this. Interesting about how they had to start new servers up each morning. https://customers.microsoft.com/en-gb/story/724217-capita-uk-professional-services-azure-sql-database

Where does this software sit price wise?

We never solved this and had to create the “guests” accounts on the same tenant.

I know we’ve used it / are using it but that is about it.

Error opening Outlook for the first time each day
Edu-IT replied to Edu-IT's topic in Office Software
Outlook 2016 -
The first time of opening Outlook each day, I get an error for one of the mailboxes about not being able to expand the folder. If I close and reopen Outlook it works fine. Any suggestions?

I think I am right in saying they delayed turning on the MIS Sync again until today. Schools were emailed.

It was working fine yesterday. So if it still isn’t working for you, it is local issue.

Could it just be that there were no agents available, with it being the start of term for a lot of schools today?
