You might find schools have a policy not to employ under 18s or current/ex students until a certain age. I know my school does and another local school does. But they may do a work experience type thing. Have you tried contacting local companies? You may not get paid but it's good experience and it could lead onto a job once you have left school. If a school does take you on through paid work then you may have to do a DBS as some schools have holiday schools as catch up revision/sessions. Personally if I were you I'd look at aiming for companies rather than schools. Best of luck though!

Hi All, As I put in the cool things thread Im running the London Marathon 2020 for UK Scouting. Im after ideas for fundraising activities, so far I have a Quiz with a raffle and an online fundraising page. - I'll create another thread for that Any other ideas? Thanks Bill

I have a Petzel from a few years ago which I cant remember the model but I use it for running and camping and its holding up well but I would recommend Petzel and as well as the strap that goes round the head that you get one that has the strap over the head. Mine only has the one strap around the head and a few times running I have to adjust it but its not a major issue for me.

That happens quite a bit in America. Not the drawing or looking through the vents but people living in other peoples houses without them knowing!

We have the same as we are a PFI school. Don't think we have had any issues with it apart from one of the UPS's died but that may have been a coincidence.

We use this across our MAT. Its probably out of your price range but its really good and simple to use

Our School had a MAT designed site by the central IT team. it was a pain to update or change stuff. Our school now has an IT teacher managing the design and content through GreenHouse CMS. Other staff are supposed to update too but dont!

I've always thought banning or putting in technical measures is overkill. Just educate staff to turn off the laptop or sign out of emails on phone. Personally I wont look at emails outside of work unless I am requested to by my manager.

A celebrity lives near me and posts similar stuff. I know roughly where they live and their routine. So i'd agree its not difficult. even if you're not local!

This is what our school suggests and most of the time pays for as its cheaper than software and paper.

Find a youtube video or repair guide first. They are handy when you are going through it.

Ours are done all in house.
