In addition to everyone elses comments I'd add - - Technicians roles - who does what etc - List of Head of Departments and SLT - members of staff who admin software like SIMS, Show my homework etc - nearest shops - for those days when you need extra gaffa tape etc - who has keys to server rooms etc

I highlight text and make my own notes. It takes me ages to do but I have the notes in my own way of thinking and read it many times.

Whilst we try to collate films to report to PVSL it's not always easy to get the teachers to list what they are watching in lessons. Despite numerous emails and reminders in staff meetings. Teachers don't do or I get the response 'I don't have to do it as the dvd is mine and not the schools' Which is a whole different issue we have to deal with.

I'm not sure on what paperwork ours does but one of the IT suites is rented out to an Adult Education company and they have a log on with same permissions and internet filtering as school students. They also have access to WiFi which is separate to our school network which I think they use more than school computers.

If it wasn't for the birth of Jesus then all that it is now wouldn't exist so its not really being stuck in the past just acknowledging how it began. Im in no way religious of any sorts so im not coming from that stand point. we should be merry, kind with family and friends all year round. Some of us really dread this time of year and all that it brings. But as I agree with you @localzuk on many other things that you've posted on Edugeek im going to agree to disagree this one here before we get told off by the mods!

Our doors, tables, desks etc are cleaned every night by the cleaners. Not sure about the keyboards and mice but I dont clean them.

- More IT staff - New computers in every room including offices on a rolling plan. - New servers - New APs and more - New staff laptops - Spares of everything plus one! - Tools! - Flatscreen tvs - Freezer/Fridge - to store all the ice cream and food! - Social fund - Office toys for those days when you slack off.....

My current job is one I saw on Edugeek. I browse through the jobs here too so that I still have an idea of what I need to learn/remember.

Ive never had an issue with them before. I had a parcel go missing with Amazon and they wouldn't refund anything!

Each staff member will have different needs so you will probably have to see them individually. I did a survey but almost all the replies were that it wasn't needed for job role. In the end I found some Office guides and edited them to fit the school's use. I also went to the less computer savvy staff and went through bits with them. You may also find that they dont know if they need to know how to do something extra if they have never done it before.
