A friend of mine works in a factory and if Corona is in his house then he's not allowed to go to work. He gets paid in full providing he shows proof of the positive PCR.

It is still risky but people seem to be happy going.

We havent heard anything from HR/Head about working from home but I probably wont as I can only do 5% of my job from home.

Watched Red Notice this evening. It's a good film with laughs but some bad CGI effects and some scenery is clearly a stage somewhere when it's supposed to be outside!

Where I live, we never get affected by the huge storms etc. But we have a box that is for camping but use in emergencys too. It has a portable gas stove with enough cannisters to last a couple of days, battery lamps/torches and lots of instant heat packs. We also have enough portable batteries in our house to last a couple of weeks to keep phones charged up etc. Its always worth having an emergency stash of stuff for these just in case moments.

I have been looking into these too. I have seen Jackery but they seem to be the instafluencer paid adverts company. Not seen many real world reviews.

Email/letter. Be very polite, explain what you did at university and you are looking for work but would like to volunteer to get a bit of experience.

Cant find if I have commented this before but.... A friend of mine works in Tesco petrol station and they are not enforcing masks because people would just refuse to pay for fuel as has happened before!

Congrats! Try and volunteer in local comapanies or charities. That could lead into paid work or at the very least you would gain experience.

Some of the real exempt have been wearing masks when they have been able, to help protect themselves and others. This time around I think there will be a lot of selfish people ignoring the rules.

Given people were buying lanyards and all sorts from Ebay I'm not surprised if people will be.

I live in Southern lands. I'm always wearing shorts and t-shirt. Occasionally I'll put a jumper on. My mum is from up north of the border and she doesn't go out at any sign of cold weather!
