    Yup, I can believe this. A lot of teachers have ALL their work on the desktop not in folders. apparently its easier to manage. But its not just a young persons issue. Lots of older teachers do the same. My file structure is so clean and tidy that anyone that would use my computer would know where anything is!

    Yes. Used for a variety of things including staff being able to email the right student by checking their details on SIMS.

    nah it wont, Windows 11 will be the last Windows like Windows 10.... How many times can you say Windows in a sentence?

    Wish we got free internet too! Although who is the teacher and who are the visitors? In all the schools I've worked in I'd be shot if I wasnt wearing my staff lanyard and visitors having one on too!

    My i7 work pc's processor isnt supported yet either....

    There is, it gave me the option to download it when I tried windows update which then told me my laptop was incompatible. I'm sure a Google will find it, if not I'll link it tomorrow evening when I turn my laptop on again.

    Tbh that will actually be a benefit. stops people signing in and out of personal and work accounts for teams.

    Which version? Did you use a microsoft account?

    Probably same for me for my personal laptop and I dont plan on using a MS account to log into a laptop

    Well done! I did a 10km run yesterday and saw one virtual runner, clapped and cheered him and got told to bugger off! Think he was a bit in pain by the way he was running!

    I'll be upgrading my personal machine soon but may leave off work machines for 6 months to a year.

    We have a member of staff in charge of the laptop trollys and bookings go through her and put onto a Google Sheet that staff can view.

    I was raising money for UK Scouting last year so ran between Scout huts in my town. Had fellow leaders that had drinks and food for me. Was best decision I made too as it was good to see people I hadnt seen in a while!

    Before I got burnt I was averaging half marathons around 2 hours. Cant think of my 20 mile time or Virtual marathon time off the top of my head but I pulled a muscle in the virtual marathon which completely tanked my sub 4 hour time goal. Aiming for sub 4 hours in 2023 haha. My last 5k time was 33 minutes which isnt bad at all considering my best was around 25 minutes and that I was burnt in October 2020!

    Last year I did the virtual and the app was behind on distance to my Garmin. I know of one person that didnt run the extra and he had to run the extra bit a few hours later as the app didnt show he had completed it and wouldnt get sent the medal. I wish I was running it this year but after my dance with fire I am only at about 5km. I have got a place for 2023 so I should be ok for that! Good luck to all those running!

    Not from experience but even if the numberplate was read people could still get away with it. Yeah you do have to do that.
